Disney announced at the 2024 D23 event that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run would be updated to include Mando and Grogu. Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Dave Filoni explained how the collaboration with Epic Games and their Unreal Engine is central to this new attraction. “The intersection of storytelling and innovation has always been central to Lucasfilm, and we’re excited to see where this collaboration will take us next,” Filoni told the crowd.
