Fantasmic! dining package prices went up on October 6, 2026 — the same day Annual Passes, 2027 tickets, and quick-service menus all moved. If you are counting, that is four price increases in two days.
Most of the Fantasmic! changes are $1 or $2. One is $3. And one price actually went down.
Quick Summary
- Fantasmic! dining package prices rose October 6, 2026 at four Hollywood Studios restaurants
- Sci-Fi Dine-In took the biggest increase: adults up $3.00, from $59 to $62
- The Hollywood Brown Derby remains the most expensive: $84.00 for adults
- Hollywood & Vine kids lunch and dinner went DOWN $1.00, from $53 to $52
- Kids pricing at 50’s Prime Time, Sci-Fi Dine-In, and Brown Derby is unchanged
- All prices exclude tax, gratuity, alcohol, and park admission

Two Things Worth Noticing
Sci-Fi and 50’s Prime Time are now the same price. Sci-Fi was $59, a dollar under 50’s Prime Time’s $60. After this round, both sit at exactly $62. Sci-Fi absorbed a $3 increase to get there while 50’s took $2.
That looks like deliberate flattening rather than two independent decisions. If you were picking Sci-Fi partly because it was the cheaper of the two, that reason is gone — choose on the room and the menu now, because the price is identical.
A kids price went down. Hollywood & Vine kids lunch and dinner dropped from $53 to $52. In a week where Disney raised the Incredi-Pass 7.4% and pushed peak Magic Kingdom tickets to $229, one dollar off a kids buffet is the lone decrease on the board.
It is a rounding error in a family’s budget, but it is worth noting because it suggests these numbers are being set per-restaurant rather than by a blanket percentage.
What You Actually Get
Each Fantasmic! dining package includes:
- An entree and dessert at a full-service restaurant, or a full buffet where available
- One non-alcoholic beverage — or an alcoholic one if you are 21 or older
- One voucher for guaranteed reserved seating at Fantasmic!
That third item is the whole product. The meal is the delivery mechanism; the seat is what you are buying.
The Seating Detail People Get Wrong
A reserved seating voucher is not a reserved seat.
Seating opens 90 minutes before showtime, and seats within the reserved section are first-come, first-served. Disney’s guidance is to arrive at least 25 minutes early.
So the voucher guarantees you get into the reserved section. It does not guarantee where in that section you land. If you want a good view rather than just a seat, show up well before the 25-minute mark — the people who treat the voucher as “we can stroll up at showtime” are the ones who end up on the far edge.
Is It Worth It?
Run this math yourself rather than taking the package price at face value.
Look up what that restaurant charges for a comparable meal on your date, then subtract it from the package price. The difference is what you are paying for the seat voucher. At the buffets that gap tends to be narrow; at Brown Derby it is a different conversation entirely.
On the Disney Dining Plan, the credit math matters more than the dollars:
- 50’s Prime Time Cafe — 1 table-service credit per person
- Hollywood & Vine — 1 credit per person
- Sci-Fi Dine-In — 1 credit per person
- The Hollywood Brown Derby — 2 credits per person
Brown Derby costs you double the credits. If you are on the Dining Plan and the goal is a Fantasmic! seat, the three one-credit options are the efficient play, and two of them now cost exactly the same.
Practical Notes
- Advance dining reservations are recommended and these packages book out for busy weeks
- Prices exclude tax, gratuity, alcohol, and park admission — budget accordingly
- Fantasmic! does not run every night; confirm it is scheduled on your date before booking a package around it
- This increase is separate from, and on top of, the quick-service menu increases that hit the same day
The Bottom Line
Fantasmic! dining packages are up $1 to $3 per adult, with Sci-Fi Dine-In taking the largest hit and landing at price parity with 50’s Prime Time. Brown Derby stays the premium option at $84 and two dining plan credits.
If a guaranteed Fantasmic! seat is the goal, 50’s Prime Time or Sci-Fi at $62 and one credit is the value pick — just get there early, because the voucher gets you in the section, not into a specific seat.
