If you’ve been eating at the same Magic Kingdom table-service spots for years, here’s a reason to look at the menu again. Three restaurants just added new dishes.
The new Magic Kingdom menu items are at Be Our Guest Restaurant, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, and The Plaza Restaurant. The lineup ranges from a French-style Beef Bourguignon en Croute to a very photogenic Steamboat Willie Milk Shake, plus a new plant-based entrée at Tony’s.
Here’s every new dish, what’s in it, and what it costs where prices were shared, plus a few tips on which restaurant fits your day.
Quick Summary
- Be Our Guest: Beef Bourguignon en Croute, Truffle Pomme Frites, and Lobster Macaroni au Gratin.
- The Plaza: Steamboat Willie Milk Shake ($13) and Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad ($23).
- Tony’s Town Square: Insalata della Casa ($12), Lasagna alla Bolognese ($35), and plant-based Eggplant Parmigiana ($32).
- Reservations: All three restaurants accept reservations in the My Disney Experience app.

New Dishes at Be Our Guest Restaurant
Be Our Guest is the Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant in Fantasyland, set inside the Beast’s castle. It added three new dishes:
- Beef Bourguignon en Croute: Slow-cooked beef in red wine with potatoes, root vegetables, smoked bacon, and bone marrow.
- Truffle Pomme Frites: Fries topped with Parmesan cheese and black garlic-truffle aioli.
- Lobster Macaroni au Gratin: Macaroni in sauce Mornay.
The Bourguignon is the headliner here. It’s a classic French dish, which fits the restaurant’s French countryside theme perfectly. The Truffle Pomme Frites and Lobster Mac sound like easy shareables for the table.
Individual prices weren’t listed for the Be Our Guest additions, so check the menu in the My Disney Experience app before you book.

New Items at The Plaza Restaurant
The Plaza Restaurant sits at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., with views toward Cinderella Castle. It has two new additions:
- Steamboat Willie Milk Shake ($13): Hand-dipped cookies ‘n cream ice cream with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, a sugar cookie, and a cherry.
- Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad ($23): Served with hard-boiled egg, avocado purée, tomatoes, cracked pepper, and Thousand Island dressing.
The Steamboat Willie Milk Shake is going to be all over social media. The black-and-white cookies ‘n cream flavor is a clever nod to Mickey’s 1928 debut, and the churro and sugar cookie toppings make it a full dessert on its own. At $13, it’s big enough to share.
The Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad is a lighter pick if you want something fresh on a hot Florida day.

New Dishes at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
Tony’s Town Square is the Lady and the Tramp-inspired Italian restaurant near the park entrance. It added three items, including a plant-based option:
- Insalata della Casa ($12): Greens, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, and pepperoncini tossed in balsamic vinaigrette.
- Lasagna alla Bolognese ($35): Meat sauce layered with mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, and Pecorino Romano.
- Eggplant Parmigiana, plant-based ($32): Lightly breaded eggplant baked in Tony’s Marinara Sauce with plant-based mozzarella, served with spaghetti.
The plant-based Eggplant Parmigiana is a nice addition. It gives vegan and dairy-free guests a hearty, classic Italian entrée instead of just a side or a salad.
Why Menu Refreshes Matter
Magic Kingdom’s table-service restaurants can go years with only small changes. New dishes give returning guests a reason to try a place again, and they often fix gaps in a menu.
This round does a bit of both. Be Our Guest leans further into its French theme, The Plaza adds a fun Mickey-themed treat, and Tony’s adds a hearty plant-based entrée. If you skipped any of these restaurants on past trips, the new items might be worth a second look.
Which Restaurant Should You Pick?
All three are in Magic Kingdom, but they serve different needs:
- Be Our Guest: Best for a themed, special-occasion meal. You’re dining inside the Beast’s castle, and the atmosphere is the main draw.
- The Plaza: Great for a comfortable, classic sit-down meal close to Main Street, with easy access to fireworks viewing and the hub.
- Tony’s Town Square: Good for families who want familiar Italian food, and now a better pick for plant-based eaters.
Tips for Booking
- Book early for Be Our Guest. It’s one of the most in-demand restaurants at Magic Kingdom.
- Check The Plaza for last-minute openings. Smaller restaurants sometimes have availability closer to your date.
- Look at the full menu in the app. It’s the easiest way to confirm current prices and allergy-friendly options.
- Plan dessert around the milkshake. If you’re at The Plaza, the Steamboat Willie shake can double as your sweet treat for the day.
The Bottom Line
Three Magic Kingdom table-service restaurants have new dishes. Be Our Guest added Beef Bourguignon en Croute, Truffle Pomme Frites, and Lobster Macaroni au Gratin. The Plaza added a $13 Steamboat Willie Milk Shake and a $23 Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad. Tony’s Town Square added a $12 house salad, $35 Lasagna alla Bolognese, and a $32 plant-based Eggplant Parmigiana. All three take reservations in My Disney Experience, so book early, and keep checking DisMornings for more Walt Disney World dining news.
