Disney World Character List
On the search for Disney Characters? You’ve come to the right place! Let’s take a look at my Disney World Character List tool and how to use My Disney Experience to find your favorite characters!
Hey Disney Vacationers! Planning your next Walt Disney World trip and wondering which characters you can meet? My free Disney World Character List tool brings together every meet and greet and character dining experience— all in one place.
Disney updates schedules often, so I do my best to keep this list current. That said, locations and times can change without notice, especially during weather delays or private events.
Pro Tip: Bookmark this page before your visit so you can pull it up quickly while you’re in the parks.
How This List Works
This list is powered by real-time park data and manually verified updates from Disney’s official schedule. It includes every regularly listed meet-and-greet and character dining experience across all four Disney World theme parks and resort locations.
You can use the interactive filters below to search by park or by character to find exactly who you want to meet.
- Filter by Park to see who’s meeting at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom.
- Filter by Character to jump straight to favorites like Mickey, Elsa, or Buzz Lightyear.
Each listing shows the exact location of appearances so you can plan your day more efficiently.
The information here is updated frequently, but Disney occasionally changes character lineups or timing without notice. Always confirm meet-and-greets inside the My Disney Experience app once you’re in the parks for the most accurate schedule.

Step-By-Step Guide
How to Find Characters Using the My Disney Experience App
If you’ve never used the app to find characters, here’s how it works. It’s fast, simple, and saves time once you’re in the parks.
Open My Disney Experience
If you haven’t already, download the My Disney Experience. It’s your ticket to all the fun at Disney World.
From the home screen, find the “Map Pin Icon” at the bottom of the screen. Click on it. That’s your gateway to all the Disney World maps.
Select Characters from the Dropdown
With the map open, tap on the dropdown menu at the top. Select “Characters”. This is like your magical radar for your favorite Disney pals.
Filter & Find
Use the “Filter” option to zoom in on a specific Disney park. Whether you’re in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, you’ll know which characters are in each park.
Switch Views for Your Convenience
Prefer a list view over a map view? No problem! Tap the “Show List” button to switch between views. It’s all about what works for you.
Meet & Greet Time!
Both the map and list are interactive. Tap on a character, and voila! You’ll see their schedule for the day, their spot on the map, and even directions from where you are. It’s like having a personal Disney guide in your pocket.
Pro Tip : On the map view the characters are marked by the map icon with a profile of Mickey’s head in it.

Special Event Characters at Disney World
Disney loves a good surprise. Some of the best character moments happen during special ticketed events where rare favorites appear for a limited time. If you collect meet-and-greets or photos with hard-to-find characters, these are worth the ticket.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – Magic Kingdom
This after-hours Halloween bash mixes trick-or-treat trails, stage shows, and unique character sightings.
Characters you can usually meet:
- Jack Skellington and Sally (Town Square Theater)
- The Seven Dwarfs (Fantasyland)
- Jafar, Lotso, Cruella de Vil roaming various areas
- Mickey and Minnie in Halloween costumes
Pro Tip: Lines for Jack and Sally form early — sometimes before the party starts. Or, a good time is during the first Boo-To-You Parade.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – Magic Kingdom
Snow falls on Main Street U.S.A., and classic characters show up in holiday attire you won’t see any other time.
Characters you can usually meet:
- Santa Claus (Town Square)
- Scrooge McDuck and Donald in festive outfits
- Jack Skellington as “Santa Jack”
- Mickey and Minnie in red-and-green holiday wear
- Goofy as Santa Goofy
Pro Tip: The holiday parade often features characters who don’t do normal meet-and-greets.
Not-So-ScaDisney Jollywood Nights – Hollywood Studios
This event blends old-Hollywood glamour with holiday fun and rare appearances.
Characters you can usually meet:
- Powerline Max in a ’90s holiday outfit
- Edna Mode and Frozone (Pixar Place)
- Mickey and Minnie in vintage formal attire
- Chip and Dale as bellhops
- Kermit and Miss Piggy in the stage show
Pro Tip: The Tip Top Club a area has shorter lines early in the night.
Disney After Hours Events – Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios
After Hours events bring low crowds and occasional character surprises. They aren’t focused on meet-and-greets, but you’ll still see some familiar faces.
What to expect:
- Mickey or Minnie near the hub areas
- Pixar or Star Wars characters at Hollywood Studios
- Princesses around EPCOT pavilions
Pro Tip: Ask Cast Members — they sometimes hint at unlisted appearances.
runDisney Race Weekends – All Parks and Resorts
runDisney races are filled with character sightings you won’t see anywhere else.
Characters you might spot:
- Villains during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon
- Pixar friends during Marathon Weekend
- Star Wars and Marvel heroes at challenge events
Pro Tip: Some characters appear near resorts on race mornings — worth checking if you’re staying on property.
Seasonal Surprises
Disney occasionally adds new characters for movie releases or special celebrations. They aren’t announced in advance, but they’re always fun to find.
Recent examples:
- Mirabel (Fairy Tale Garden)
- Bruno from Encanto during Hispanic Heritage Month
- Power Rangers short appearance at Hollywood Studios
Pro Tip: Keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app and check back here often — I update as soon as new appearances are confirmed.
