Disney has just rolled out a game-changing update to the My Disney Experience app, introducing iOS Live Activities for Disney Mobile Order tracking. Now, you can monitor your food order status directly from your iPhone’s Lock Screen, making the mobile order experience smoother and faster than ever.

What’s New?
- Real-Time Tracking: Apple’s Live Activities feature keeps your mobile order status updated on your Lock Screen.
- Easy Interaction: Tap “I’m Here” from the Lock Screen to notify the kitchen you’ve arrived—no need to open the app.
Device Compatibility
- Requires iPhones running iOS 16.1 or later.
- Enhanced Dynamic Island functionality is available on:
- iPhone 14 Pro models
- All iPhone 15 models
- All iPhone 16 models
Make sure your My Disney Experience or Disneyland app is up to date to access this feature.
Where Can You Use It?
Currently, Live Activities for Mobile Order tracking is available at select dining locations across Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, with more locations coming soon.
How to Use Mobile Order in the App
- Open the My Disney Experience or Disneyland app.
- Tap the “+” icon at the bottom center of your screen and select “Order Food.”
- Choose your dining location and arrival time.
- Browse the menu, customize your items, and place your order.
- Complete payment using any of the following:
- Credit or debit card
- Disney Gift Card
- Disney Rewards Redemption Card
- Apple Pay
- Disney Dining Plan
- Arrive at the location and tap “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” to let the kitchen know you’re ready.
- Wait for the notification that your food is ready at the Mobile Order Pick-Up counter.
