Disney Cruise Line has revealed everything about the Disney Believe — and the biggest news is not a venue or a show. It is the homeport.
The Believe sails its maiden voyage December 18, 2027 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, running four- and five-night itineraries to The Bahamas and Caribbean. General bookings open October 19, 2026, with Castaway Club windows starting October 12.

Port Everglades Is the Real Headline
Everything else on this list is theming. The homeport is logistics, and logistics is what decides whether you can actually take this cruise.
Fort Lauderdale rather than Port Canaveral is a meaningful choice. Port Canaveral is the Walt Disney World port — the one that makes a park-and-cruise combination trip straightforward. Port Everglades is roughly three to four hours south of Orlando, which means a Believe sailing is its own trip rather than an add-on to a theme park week.
That is not a downside, it is a different product. Port Everglades has its own large catchment, serves South Florida directly, and is a major cruise hub in its own right. But if you were assuming you could stack a Believe sailing onto a park week with a short drive, adjust the plan.
Four- and five-night itineraries also tell you something: this is built for shorter, more frequent trips rather than week-long voyages. Both the port and itineraries are the same method Disney Cruise Line used with the launch of the Disney Destiny in 2026. The shorter itineraries allow more guests to experience the newest ship within the first year.

The Grand Hall and Public Spaces
The Grand Hall takes its inspiration from Moana and its Pacific Islands setting — ocean-hued carpet, a ceiling of constellations, and railings modeled after the designs on Moana’s skirt. The centerpiece chandelier is shaped after the ocean’s movement, with the heart of Te Fiti hidden inside.
Gazelle is the ship’s main entertainment hub, inspired by Zootopia. Family-friendly by day, adult-exclusive at night. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde headline a brand-new family detective show — their first on any Disney Cruise Line ship.

Lounges
The Wishing Well is a Snow White themed lounge in three parts: a bar evoking the gothic castle with stained glass, a courtyard seating area with white blossoms and red apples, and a performance area framed in hand-carved wood inspired by the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage. If you’re familiar with the Disney Treasure, this is where the Jungle Cruise themed lounge is located or on the Disney Destiney it’s the Doctor Strange lounge.
Sea Notes is a Little Mermaid piano lounge just off the Grand Hall, with a pearlescent piano at the center. If you’re familiar with the Disney Treasure, this is Aristocats lounge is located or on the Disney Destiney it’s De Vil’s.
Skygazers is an observatory-themed adult pub — bookshelves of astronomical instruments and celestial maps, with nods to Disney stories where characters wished upon stars. Craft brews, specialty cocktails, light bites, and live sports broadcasts. if you’re familiar with Disney Treasure, this is where the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea lounge is located or on the Disney Destiney it’s Pirates of the Caribbean lounge.
Haunted Mansion Parlor will also be part of the new ship, and include new cocktails and drinks for the Disney Believe.

Dining
Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast is new, set in a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard. Oaken’s family performs reimagined Frozen songs throughout the meal, with appearances from Anna and Kristoff.
1923 and World of Marvel will be the other two rotational dining experiences aboard the Disney Believe.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets returns with Inside Out 2 additions — Anxiety, Envy, and the Sense of Self structure — plus nearly 20 gelato and ice cream flavors and daily handcrafted specials.
Big Hero Sips draws from Big Hero 6’s San Fransokyo. Café Kakamora is inspired by the coconut creatures from Moana. Both serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
Returning: 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Haunted Mansion Parlor with a new drink selection.

Entertainment
Two shows confirmed for the Walt Disney Theatre:
Disney Encanto — the first-ever stage adaptation of the Academy Award-winning film, following Mirabel, with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s songs, Colombian-inspired costuming, and traditional dance. Exclusive to the Disney Believe.
Tangled: The Musical — carried over from the Disney Magic with reimagined set design and new effects.
Disney Seas the Adventure, the original Wish-class show, also returns.
Encanto is the genuine differentiator here. Each Wish-class ship has shared a hull and layout and distinguished itself through venues and shows, and a first-ever stage adaptation of a film this popular is the strongest claim the Believe can make. It is also the one thing on this ship you cannot get anywhere else.
Staterooms and Suites
Standard staterooms feature papercut-style artwork inspired by Moana, Coco, and Inside Out. Concierge guests choose between Neverland theming based on Peter Pan or Toy Story themed oceanview rooms above the bridge.
Two new royal suites:
- Royal Reef Suite — The Little Mermaid
- Royal Rose Suite — Beauty and the Beast
The ship’s exclusive accommodation is the Believe Tower Suite — two stories, sleeps eight, inspired by Magic Kingdom Park, with each room modeled after a different themed land. Highlights include fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures and Cinderella Castle artwork.
The practical numbers matter more than the suites for most families: 70% of staterooms have a verandah, and there are more than 450 connecting doors for larger groups.
Booking Windows
Bookings open in stages:
- Oct. 12 — Pearl Castaway Club Members
- Oct. 13 — Platinum Castaway Club, Golden Oak Residents, Club 33 Members
- Oct. 14 — Gold Castaway Club Members
- Oct. 15 — Silver Castaway Club, Disney Vacation Club Members, Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders
- Oct. 19 — General on-sale
If you are booking general on-sale, note that four tiers get at it first. Maiden voyage and holiday sailings on a new Disney ship typically have very little left by the time the public window opens — so if December 18, 2027 specifically is the goal, set expectations accordingly.
This follows the Believe’s keel laying ceremony at Meyer Werft last week. The ship is the fourth in the Wish class, after the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny.
The Bottom Line
December 18, 2027 from Port Everglades, four- and five-night Bahamas and Caribbean sailings, general on-sale October 19.
Port Everglades instead of Port Canaveral is the detail that changes how you plan. Disney Encanto is the reason to pick this ship over its three sisters.
