The Muppets takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is coming together fast, and now we know the food situation too. FOOD by Swedish Chef is returning to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard when the attraction opens May 26, 2026 — and it’s bringing a brand-new menu with it. The kiosk will be located right at the ride exit, steps away from where guests pour out of the attraction, at the former KRNR The Rock Station spot.
If you were a fan of grabbing a snack or a drink after riding, this is great news. The Swedish Chef is officially in charge of the courtyard, and based on what Disney has teased so far, the new offerings are going to match the chaotic, colorful energy of the whole Muppets experience.

What Is FOOD by Swedish Chef?
FOOD by Swedish Chef is a quick-service kiosk built around the Swedish Chef from The Muppets. The name is a direct nod to his famously chaotic approach to cooking — the kind of character who would absolutely serve you something delicious in the most unhinged way possible. It fits perfectly as the food companion to a Muppets-themed thrill ride.
The kiosk sits right in the courtyard at the ride exit, which is one of the best positioned snack spots in all of Hollywood Studios. You step off the coaster and the food is right there. Disney designed it specifically to extend the Muppets experience past the ride itself and into the courtyard around it.
What Was on the Old Menu — and What Might Be New
The former KRNR The Rock Station served casual snacks and beverages that worked well as post-ride fuel. Mini corn dogs, mini churros with chocolate sauce, tortilla chips with cheese, waffle cones, and frozen Coca-Cola floats were the regulars. On the alcohol side, you could get frozen Coca-Cola spiked with rum, whiskey, or vodka, Jack Daniel’s with Coke, Bud Light draft, and hard seltzer.
The new menu has not been fully revealed yet. Disney says a Foodie Guide will drop before May 26. But one item has already been teased: a red churro-style treat with colorful sprinkles and a dark dipping sauce — a direct nod to the Electric Mayhem band’s vibrant color palette. Expect fun, personality-driven spins on the snack and drink format, with Swedish Chef putting his signature chaotic stamp on everything.
When Can You Get There?
FOOD by Swedish Chef opens alongside Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets on May 26, 2026. Annual Passholders get early access to the full experience starting May 21. DVC Members have priority access on May 24. General public day is May 26.
If you are planning a trip around the opening, this is an easy addition to your day. The kiosk is right at the exit — grab something on your way out and keep moving through the park. Once the Foodie Guide drops with the full menu breakdown, we will know exactly what Swedish Chef has been cooking up.
Wrapping Up
FOOD by Swedish Chef is a fun and fitting piece of the larger Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Muppets transformation at Hollywood Studios. The Electric Mayhem-inspired food hints tell you Disney put real thought into making the courtyard feel like a continuation of the ride, not just an afterthought. Keep an eye on the official Foodie Guide ahead of May 26 for the full menu reveal — and start making your plans now if you want to be there on opening day.
