Walt Disney World is getting a very different kind of holiday event this year. WWE is bringing two of its biggest nights to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14 and 15, headlined by The John Cena Classic and an Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide. This WWE at Walt Disney World takeover also includes a two-day fan event with exclusive merchandise and Superstar meet-and-greets.
Disney and WWE say the partnership is expanding beyond television and streaming, and this is the first big example. Combo tickets go on sale in just over a week.
Whether you’re a lifelong wrestling fan or you’re just curious why Avengers title belts are about to exist, here’s what’s happening each night, what’s at WWE World, and how and when to buy tickets.
Quick Summary
- WWE is taking over ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World on December 14 and 15, 2026
- Monday, December 14 is the debut of The John Cena Classic, streaming live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw
- Tuesday, December 15 is an Avengers: Doomsday edition of Worlds Collide, featuring WWE, NXT, and AAA Superstars
- WWE World, a two-day fan event, will offer exclusive merchandise and photo and autograph opportunities
- Avengers: Doomsday co-branded WWE products, including title belts, will be sold at WWE World, WWEShop.com, and select Disney stores
- Two-day combo tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster, with presale on November 12 and public sale on November 13
Night One: The John Cena Classic
The first night, Monday, December 14, is the debut of The John Cena Classic. WWE’s biggest names from Raw and SmackDown will face the brightest future Superstars from NXT.
WWE revealed the show on Monday Night Raw in front of a sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn. It will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw.
Fans Get a Vote
Here’s the twist. Members of Club WWE, the company’s recently launched fan membership program, will vote in real time for their favorite performance. The night ends by naming the top Superstar, as decided by the WWE Universe. You can register at WWE.com/ClubWWE.
That’s a fun format. Instead of just watching, fans in the building and at home help decide how the night ends.
Night Two: Worlds Collide, Avengers: Doomsday Edition
On Tuesday, December 15, WWE presents an Avengers: Doomsday edition of Worlds Collide, with Superstars from WWE, NXT, and AAA.
The timing is no coincidence. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday opens in U.S. theaters on December 18, just three days later. It’s a rare crossover between a wrestling promotion and a Marvel release, and Disney owns both the venue and the film.
For Marvel fans, this could be one of the more unusual ways to celebrate a movie release. For wrestling fans, it’s a chance to see WWE, NXT, and AAA talent share a ring on Disney property.
WWE World and Avengers Merchandise
Around both shows, WWE and Fanatics will stage WWE World, a two-day immersive fan event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Disney says it will include:
- Exclusive merchandise
- Retail activations
- Photo and autograph opportunities with WWE Superstars
WWE will also sell Avengers: Doomsday co-branded products, including title belts. You’ll find them at WWE World, WWEShop.com, and select Disney retail stores. If you collect either WWE or Marvel gear, an Avengers-themed title belt is going to be a conversation piece.
How to Get Tickets
Two-day combo tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.com. Here’s the schedule:
- General presale: Thursday, November 12 at 10:00am ET
- Public on-sale: Friday, November 13 at 10:00am ET
You can register at WWE.com/CenaClassic to get event information first. Disney hasn’t announced ticket prices yet, or whether single-night tickets will be available. Plan on combo tickets being the main option for now.
My advice? Be ready right at 10:00am. Wrestling shows with a big name attached can sell fast, and the presale is your best shot at good seats.
Planning Your Visit to ESPN Wide World of Sports
If you’re traveling to Walt Disney World for this, a few things to keep in mind:
- ESPN Wide World of Sports is not a theme park. You won’t need a park ticket to attend, but you will need an event ticket.
- It’s in the southwest part of Walt Disney World, near Animal Kingdom and the All-Star resorts. If you’re staying at an All-Star resort or a nearby Animal Kingdom-area hotel, you’ll be close by.
- Plan your transportation. Big events here can bring heavy traffic. Give yourself extra time and check parking details closer to the event.
- Pair it with the holidays. Mid-December is peak holiday season at Walt Disney World. You could combine the WWE shows with Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios on December 14 or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.
- Watch for crowds. December 14 and 15 fall during a busy holiday stretch, so book hotels and dining early.
Why This Matters for Disney
This event is a sign that the Disney and WWE partnership is growing. WWE programming is already on Netflix, and now WWE is bringing live events to Disney’s own sports venue. Tying one night to a Marvel movie shows how Disney can connect its brands in unexpected ways.
Disney says more details will arrive in the coming weeks, including more on WWE World.
The Bottom Line
WWE at Walt Disney World brings The John Cena Classic and an Avengers: Doomsday edition of Worlds Collide to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14 and 15. Add in WWE World, Superstar meet-and-greets, and Avengers-themed title belts, and it’s one of the most unusual events Disney has hosted.
Mark your calendar for the November 12 presale or the November 13 public sale on Ticketmaster. Pricing is still to come, and we’ll share it as soon as it’s released.
