Your Disney PhotoPass photos just got a new home after your trip. Shutterfly is now the Official Photo Gift Partner of Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Starting today, you can link your Disney PhotoPass account to Shutterfly, and your PhotoPass photos will show up in your Shutterfly account automatically.
If you’ve ever downloaded a few hundred PhotoPass photos and then never done anything with them, the Shutterfly PhotoPass link is aimed squarely at you. Here’s how it works and what’s still unclear.
Quick Summary
- Shutterfly is the new Official Photo Gift Partner of Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani.
- Starting October 20, 2026, Walt Disney World and Disneyland guests can link their Disney PhotoPass account to Shutterfly.
- Once linked, PhotoPass photos sync to your Shutterfly account automatically, ready for photo books, cards, and gifts.
- Disney Cruise Line and Aulani guests get the same feature in early 2027.
- Shutterfly is also launching a Disney shopping hub on Shutterfly.com with parks-inspired and character designs.
How the Shutterfly PhotoPass Link Works
The idea is simple. Instead of downloading your PhotoPass photos, saving them to your computer, and then uploading them somewhere else to make a photo book, you connect the two accounts once. After that, your Disney PhotoPass photos appear in Shutterfly on their own.
From there, you can use them in photo books, cards, gifts, and other personalized items without moving files around. For anyone who has tried to sort through hundreds of photos from a week at Walt Disney World, cutting out the download-and-upload step is a real time saver.
The feature is live now for Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort guests. If you sailed with Disney Cruise Line or stayed at Aulani, you’ll have to wait until early 2027 for the same link.
What We Don’t Know Yet
The announcement leaves a few practical questions open, and they matter before you plan around this:
- Does it require Memory Maker? The announcement doesn’t say whether the sync includes every photo in your PhotoPass account or only photos you’ve purchased, either individually or through Memory Maker.
- Is there a cost to link? Disney and Shutterfly haven’t said whether linking is free. You’ll pay for any products you order, as usual.
- How far back does it go? It’s not clear whether older PhotoPass photos from past trips will sync, or only new ones.
Until those are answered, don’t skip your normal PhotoPass downloads. Keep saving your photos the usual way, since PhotoPass photos only stay available in your account for a limited time.

The New Disney Hub on Shutterfly.com
Shutterfly is also launching a dedicated Disney shopping hub on Shutterfly.com that puts all of its Disney photo products in one place. New collections include:
- Walt Disney World parks designs for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disneyland Resort collections for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure
- Expanded character products featuring Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Cars, and Mickey & Friends
Products include photo books, cards, home decor, games, ornaments, and other personalized gifts. More Disney and Pixar character collections are planned over time.
What Does It Cost?
Shutterfly’s Disney photo book designs, including Walt Disney World Park Adventures and Classic Disney, are listed from $22.24. Disney wall calendars, with designs like Mickey and Friends, Moana, Toy Story, and Winnie the Pooh, are shown discounted from $46.98 to $32.89.
Shutterfly runs sales constantly, so treat those numbers as a snapshot. If you’re not in a rush, it’s usually worth waiting for a promotion before you order a big photo book.
What Disney and Shutterfly Are Saying
Shutterfly CEO Emily Whittaker said the alliance “creates a seamless connection between the moment and the memory.” Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President at Disney Products & Experiences, said the goal is to make it easier for guests to bring their memories into everyday life through personalized keepsakes.
Tips for Using It After Your Trip
- Link your accounts before you travel. That way your photos are already flowing into Shutterfly by the time you get home.
- Still download your PhotoPass photos. A synced copy in Shutterfly is handy, but your own downloaded copies are the safest backup.
- Make the photo book while the trip is fresh. It’s much easier to pick favorites and add captions a week after you get home than a year later.
- Think holiday gifts. Calendars and ornaments with your Disney photos make easy gifts for grandparents, and the timing of this launch lines up with the holiday season.
The Bottom Line
The Shutterfly PhotoPass link is a genuinely useful change if you like turning trip photos into photo books, calendars, or gifts. Link your Disney PhotoPass account once, and your photos show up in Shutterfly automatically. It’s live now for Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and it reaches Disney Cruise Line and Aulani in early 2027. Just don’t treat it as a replacement for downloading your photos, at least until Disney clarifies which photos sync and whether Memory Maker is involved.
