Disney says it’s arriving later this summer — which likely puts it sometime around the Fourth of July window or shortly after.

No specific popcorn cart locations have been announced at either resort. When it arrives, check the My Disney Experience app or Disneyland app for the most current location info. These novelty buckets tend to pop up at main-location popcorn carts near park entrances and popular areas.

Purchase Limits and Availability

Disney has set a limit of two per person per transaction. This isn’t a surprise for a novelty bucket tied to a major anniversary celebration — expect demand to be high. It will be available while supplies last, so if you’re planning your trip around this, don’t wait until late July to go looking for it.

Part of a Bigger America 250 Food Rollout

The Sam Eagle Popcorn Bucket is part of a much larger Fourth of July food rollout at Walt Disney World. Starting June 15, red, white, and blue-themed food items are hitting theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs across the resort — everything from patriotic funnel cakes at Sleepy Hollow to a Sam Eagle Star-Spangled Shortcake at Regal Eagle in EPCOT. The bucket will join that lineup when it finally arrives at WDW.

Sam Eagle has always been the Muppets’ resident patriot. Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip.
