There’s a Mai Tai glass that says “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” on it. The final Mickey’s of Glendale merchandise reveals for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026 are here — two collections plus a preview of exclusive event pins.
The Mickey’s of Glendale D23 collections completing the lineup are the Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion Collection and the Horizons Collection.
Here’s what’s in each and how to actually get into the store.
Quick Summary
- Two final collections: the WDI Pavilion Collection and the Horizons Collection
- The Pavilion Collection draws on the 1964 New York World’s Fair and early Tomorrowland
- A Mai Tai glass features “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow”
- The Horizons Collection includes a Sorcerer Mickey tee, mug, and postcard set
- New D23-exclusive pins release Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Mickey’s of Glendale runs on virtual queue with boarding groups at 6am and 1pm PT
Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion Collection
Designed specifically for the Imagineering: Horizons pavilion on the D23 show floor, this collection draws inspiration from Imagineering’s past:
- The design language of the 1964 New York World’s Fair
- Early Tomorrowland architecture and graphics
- Classic attractions including the Carousel of Progress
Items include:
- A T-shirt featuring Imagineering Horizons branding and illustrated Disney parks landmarks on the back
- A two-tone cream and blue baseball cap with Imagineering Horizons embroidery and Walt Disney Imagineering lettering on the back strap
- A Mai Tai glass featuring the Imagineering Horizons pavilion design and the phrase “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow”
- A magnet
- Collectible pins
The 1964 World’s Fair Reference Is the Whole Point
This collection is aimed squarely at people who know why 1964 matters, and it’s worth explaining if you don’t.
Walt Disney developed four attractions for the 1964 New York World’s Fair: it’s a small world, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Ford’s Magic Skyway, and the Carousel of Progress. All four were essentially prototypes — Disney used someone else’s money and someone else’s venue to test Audio-Animatronics and ride systems at scale.
Three of those attractions came home to Disney parks afterward. The Fair is arguably where modern Imagineering was proven.
“There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” is the Sherman Brothers song written for the Carousel of Progress, and it remains one of the most beloved pieces of music Disney has produced.
Putting that lyric on a Mai Tai glass, sold at an Imagineering pavilion subtitled “A Carousel of Progress,” is a very deliberate stack of references.
Horizons Collection
A second collection — simply titled the Horizons Collection — also debuts at D23 2026.
Items include:
- A navy T-shirt featuring Sorcerer Mickey against a backdrop of Disney parks, with Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase branding
- A mug
- A postcard set
The postcard set is the sleeper item. Postcards are cheap, they pack flat, and they’re the easiest thing to actually use from a merchandise collection — which makes them a better souvenir than a fifth t-shirt for a lot of people.
Exclusive D23 Pins
The Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store will release new D23-exclusive pins throughout the event — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Daily pin drops mean returning each day if you’re collecting. That’s a deliberate mechanic to drive repeat visits to a store that already runs on virtual queue.
How to Get In
Mickey’s of Glendale operates via virtual queue at D23.
Boarding groups are available from 6am PT and 1pm PT each event day via the Disney D23 or Disneyland Resort app.
The store is cashless.
Two Boarding Windows Is Better Than One
Note that detail carefully — 6am PT and 1pm PT. Two chances per day, not one.
That’s a meaningful improvement over a single-drop system. If you miss the 6am window, you get another shot at 1pm.
Practical advice:
- Set alarms for both times, every day you’re attending
- Have the app open and logged in before the window opens
- 6am PT is early. If you’re staying in Anaheim and attending all three days, that’s three 6am alarms
- Bring a card. Cashless only
- The Pin Store is a separate queue from the main store
The Complete Mickey’s of Glendale Lineup
These are the final Mickey’s of Glendale collection reveals ahead of D23. Previously announced collections include:
- The Walt Disney Imagineering Color Block Collection
- The Muppets Studio Signature Collection
- The Imagineer That! Collection — inspired by Tom Morrow 2.0, headlined by a customizable Lug bag
- The Disney .YNSD brand debut — the Imagineer-created lifestyle label with photochromic inks
That’s six distinct collections from a single store. Mickey’s of Glendale is doing more at this D23 than at any previous event, which raises the stakes considerably on getting a boarding group.
Prioritize before you’re in the store. With six collections and limited time inside, decide what you want first. The Lug bag from Imagineer That! and the .YNSD photochromic pieces are the items most likely to sell through.
The Bottom Line
The Mickey’s of Glendale D23 collections close out with the Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion Collection — drawing on the 1964 World’s Fair, early Tomorrowland, and the Carousel of Progress, including a “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” Mai Tai glass — and the Horizons Collection with a Sorcerer Mickey tee, mug, and postcard set.
New D23-exclusive pins drop Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Boarding groups open at 6am and 1pm PT daily through the Disney D23 or Disneyland Resort app. Set both alarms, bring a card, and know your priorities before you get inside.
