Lakeshore Lodge Branch & Brush Lounge and Lobby Concept Art

Reading Time: 4 minutes
The grand lobby at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge with Bay Lake views

Reservations for Disney’s newest resort open this week, and Disney has timed a fresh round of concept art to land right before they do. Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge just revealed Branch & Brush, a new lounge off the lobby, along with updated artwork showing the grand lobby in full.

Booking opens on a rolling basis starting October 6, so if this resort is on your radar for 2027, the next few days matter.

Here is what the new artwork shows, what Branch & Brush adds to the resort’s dining lineup, and exactly when your booking window opens.

Quick Summary

  • Branch & Brush is a new lounge just off the lobby with Bay Lake views
  • Updated concept art shows the grand lobby in full for the first time
  • Reservations open October 6 for DVC members, October 7 for Annual Passholders, October 8 for everyone
  • Branch & Brush is the fifth confirmed food and beverage location at the resort
  • Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027

The Grand Lobby

The new rendering shows the lobby as guests will first experience it, and the sightline is the whole point.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame unobstructed views of Bay Lake straight ahead, with The Wetlands pool area visible to the left. Hundreds of colorful glass leaves hang suspended overhead as part of the blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture, filling the soaring space with movement.

At the center of the lobby floor sits a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, with a fiberoptic river flowing around it. Look closely and you will find characters from decades of Disney animated films etched into the design.

That bronze centerpiece is the detail worth slowing down for. Etched character references in a floor piece are the kind of thing most guests walk straight over.

Branch & Brush

Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush is a new lounge serving handcrafted cocktails with Bay Lake views.

The rendering shows a warm, intimate space built around a color-changing chandelier designed to reflect all four seasons — the central visual element of the room. Original Disney artwork lines the walls, and natural textures and rich colors run throughout.

A seasonal chandelier is a clever anchor for a nature-themed resort. It gives the room a reason to look different in February than it does in July, which is more than most hotel lounges manage.

The Dining Lineup So Far

Branch & Brush joins four other confirmed food and beverage locations at Lakeshore Lodge:

  • Moonglade
  • Bay Lake Provisions
  • Paint Out Point Bar & Grill
  • Dandelion Terrace

Five venues is a healthy count for a new resort, and the mix suggests Disney is building something closer to a destination resort than a place you sleep between park days.

When Your Booking Window Opens

This is the part to act on. Reservations open on a rolling basis:

  • October 6 — Disney Vacation Club members, via Member Services at (800) 800-9800
  • October 7 — Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, at (407) 934-7639
  • October 8 — All guests, online or by calling (407) 934-7639

Note that the first two days are phone only. Online booking does not appear until October 8, which means DVC members and Passholders need to actually call.

If you are a DVC member or Passholder, use your head start. A brand-new Walt Disney World resort opening on a specific date draws concentrated demand for opening week, and two days is a real advantage.

If you are booking on October 8, have your dates and room preference decided before you log in. The opening-window slots for July 2027 will be the most contested.

What to Keep in Mind

A few honest caveats before you commit.

Opening dates move. Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027, which is nine months out. Resort opening dates have slipped before, and booking the first week of a new resort carries more risk than booking an established one.

This is concept art, not photography. Renderings represent intent. The finished lobby will resemble this, but blown glass sculptures and fiberoptic rivers are the kind of feature that can get simplified between art and build.

Not everything has been announced. Five dining locations are confirmed, which implies more have not been. Pricing has not been detailed either.

Disney also took the resort on the road, with a 3D street mural in New York City recreating the Daydream River lazy river ahead of the booking window.

The Bottom Line

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge has revealed Branch & Brush, a cocktail lounge off the lobby with a four-seasons chandelier and Bay Lake views, plus full concept art of a grand lobby built around a Colors of the Wind glass sculpture and a bronze floor centerpiece.

Reservations open October 6 for DVC, October 7 for Passholders, and October 8 for everyone, with the first two days by phone only.

The resort opens July 1, 2027. If you want opening-summer dates, know which day your window opens and be ready on it.

I’m no stranger to Disney planning, as a Disneyland magic key holder and DVC member. I’m the person people ask for trip planning advice. But I had never been on a Disney cruise, and had heard great about Nate and decided to reach out. I’m so glad I did because we could not have been happier with our experience. His tips and insights were incredibly helpful, and he was incredibly responsive any time we had a question. Who do the Disney experts turn to when they need help? Nate, that’s who. We’ll definitely be using him again.

Our experience working with Nate as our Disney vacation planner was exceptional. He was responsive and thorough. He gave us insights that made the trip go much more smoothly. We were able to really relax and focus on quality time as a family and have so much fun doing it! I will definitely reach out for any future trips.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions. On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over. He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. He also helped us at the 11th hour when we added a family member to our travel group less than a month before our trip. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Nate when I'm ready to plan my next trip to Disney World!

We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going. There was a lot to consider and many decisions to make, such as where to stay, when to go, and what to experience. Nate really helped us narrow down what we wanted to do overall, but he didn’t stop there. He provided detailed guides to help us navigate the airport and find our transportation to the resort, as well as a guide to explore the resorts and make sure we saw the best Christmas decorations. One of the many amazing things he also did was set up our dinner reservations for us. This saved us so much stress and allowed us to get some of our top choices. From the moment we landed in Orlando to the moment we headed back home, he made sure everything went smoothly. You truly can’t go wrong with going to him for your next trip.

Nathan has been an amazing trip planner for me! So helpful and responsive. I am a very type A person -- so someone who is even more on top of their game than me -- is so so appreciated! Nathan has booked 3 trips for me (1 completed 2 pending) and it was perfection. Thanks again!

Nate has helped us with our vacation planning for the last couple of years and we couldn't be happier with his service and expertise. We've used other travel agents in the past and none of them have done as phenomenal a job to make sure every detail is taken care of as he has. Switching to Nate was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's always quick to answer questions and works tirelessly to make sure we get everything we want from our trips. Plus, he's just a genuinely great person who is wonderful to work with. Whether you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or any other vacation, Nate is the guy you want putting it all together! Five stars across the board!
