Jellyrolls’ replacement has a date. Hurly-Burly opens at Disney’s BoardWalk on October 1, and the full menu with pricing is out.
The new lounge takes over the former Jellyrolls space, bringing small plates, cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks to the promenade.
Quick Summary
- Opens October 1 at Disney’s BoardWalk
- Takes over the former Jellyrolls space
- Themed as a historic seaside theatre rooted in the BoardWalk’s vaudeville era
- Afternoons are all ages with trivia and games
- Evenings from 9pm are 21-and-over with live music
- A walk-up window serves select beverages to promenade passers-by
- No reservations information released yet
The Two-Mode Concept
Afternoons are open to all ages with trivia and games led by a live host.
Evenings from 9pm are 21-and-over with live music.
A walk-up window also serves select beverages for guests passing along the promenade.
Why That Split Is Smart
Jellyrolls was 21-and-over the entire time it operated, which meant a prime piece of BoardWalk frontage sat dark and inaccessible to families for most of the day. Splitting the day doubles the venue’s useful hours and gives BoardWalk something it genuinely lacked — a daytime indoor space that isn’t a restaurant.
The walk-up window is the shrewdest piece. BoardWalk’s promenade is a walking route between EPCOT’s International Gateway and Hollywood Studios, and a window selling cocktails to people already strolling past captures revenue from guests who’d never sit down.

The Theater Concessions Is the Best Idea Here
A trio of meatballs, a sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn for $12 is the item that actually commits to the theme.
It’s a concession stand order reimagined as a shareable plate — and it’s the only dish on the menu that couldn’t exist anywhere else. Everything else is well-executed lounge food; this one is the theatre conceit made edible.
The plant-based options on request for the meatballs and tomato pie are worth noting too. Building that into the standard menu rather than a separate section is the better approach.

Reading the Cocktail List
$17 to $21 is at the top of Walt Disney World’s lounge range, and the spirits list explains why — Michter’s, Plymouth Navy Strength, Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, and Ghost Blanco are genuine specialty pours rather than well products.
The Caramel Corn Old Fashioned at $21 is the signature, and pairing caramel corn with Woodford Reserve is the theatre theme applied to a serious cocktail rather than a novelty.
Seven of the ten are available at the walk-up window, which is unusually generous — most Disney walk-up service is limited to beer and pre-batched drinks.
The Mertini and Road to Fame are the two that aren’t, along with the Overproof Amaretto Sour. Sit down for those.
Wine
Sparkling: Viarae Prosecco $11 | Empire Estate Blanc de Blancs Brut $16
Rosé: La Fête du Rosé $16
White: Jordan Chardonnay $19 | Massican Sauvignon Blanc $20 | Hillick & Hobbs Estate Dry Riesling $21
Red: MacMurray Estate Pinot Noir $19 | Tablas Creek ‘Patelin de Tablas’ Rouge $20 | Schweiger Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon $34
Viarae Prosecco at $11 is the value on this list, and it appears in two cocktails as well.
Beer, Cider, and Seltzer
Atlantic Coast:
- Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA (draft) — $12.50
- Allagash White (draft) — $12.50
- Brooklyn Brewery Amber Lager (draft) — $12.50
- Original Sin Black Widow Hard Cider (can) — $13
Classic:
- Modelo Especial (draft) — $10.50
- Michelob Ultra (draft) — $10.25
- Stella Artois (draft) — $12
- High Noon Pineapple Vodka Hard Seltzer (can) — $12.75
- Athletic Brewing Co. Upside Dawn Golden, non-alcoholic (can) — $8.50
The “Atlantic Coast” grouping is a nice theming touch — Dogfish Head is Delaware, Allagash is Maine, Brooklyn is New York. It fits a BoardWalk styled after the Mid-Atlantic seaside.
Athletic Brewing’s non-alcoholic option on the list is genuinely welcome and still uncommon at Walt Disney World lounges.
What Jellyrolls Was
Jellyrolls closed in April 2025 after nearly 30 years as the BoardWalk’s dueling piano bar. It had a devoted following — a 21-and-over room with two pianists taking requests and trading songs, running late into the night. For a lot of guests it was the reason to stay at BoardWalk.
Hurly-Burly is not a replacement for that, and it’s worth being honest rather than pretending otherwise. Live music in the evenings is not dueling pianos, and a trivia-and-games afternoon is a different proposition entirely.
What it is instead is a more useful venue for more of the day, with a considerably better food and drink program than Jellyrolls ever had. Whether that trade is worth it depends entirely on what you wanted from the space.
The Bottom Line
Hurly-Burly opens October 1 at Disney’s BoardWalk in the former Jellyrolls space, with all-ages afternoons of trivia and games and 21-and-over live music from 9pm.
Small plates run $11 to $21, cocktails $17 to $21, wine $11 to $34, and beer from $10.25 — with seven of the ten cocktails also available at a promenade walk-up window.
