Grand Floridian Café is back, and it looks brand new. Disney shared a first look inside the refreshed Grand Floridian Café at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, along with photos of four new menu items. The restaurant reopened on Monday, November 2, 2026, after closing in July for refurbishment.
When we reported that Grand Floridian Café reopens November 2 with all three meals bookable, we didn’t know what the new space or menu would look like. Now we do.
Quick Summary
- Grand Floridian Café reopened November 2, 2026, after closing in July for refurbishment.
- The dining room has a lighter look, with white columns, pale green lattice, and coral chairs.
- Four new dishes: an Apple Butter-Cinnamon Roll, The Club, a Cobb Salad, and plant-based Fried Green Tomatoes.
- Brunch is gone. The café returns to separate breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
- Reservations are available on My Disney Experience.

The New Grand Floridian Café Menu Items
Disney highlighted four new dishes.
Apple Butter-Cinnamon Roll
$8: Apple Butter-Cinnamon Roll with Cinnamon-Caramel Crumb
The Club
$19: House-roasted Turkey, Carved Ham, Bacon, Herbed Cheese Spread, Crispy Onions, and Tomato Focaccia with House-seasoned Steak Fries
Cobb Salad
$21: Romaine, House-roasted Turkey, Bacon, Avocado, Tomato, Egg, Blue Cheese, and Cobb Dressing
Fried Green Tomatoes
$12: Fried Green Tomatoes with Remoulade Sauce (plant-based)
The cinnamon roll looks like an easy breakfast win, and the fried green tomatoes give plant-based diners a solid starter. The Club and Cobb Salad are classic lunch picks that fit the café’s relaxed, Victorian-meets-Florida feel.
The New Dining Room
The updated Grand Floridian Café has a lighter, brighter look. Changes include:
- White columns and pale green lattice panels overhead
- Gold shelving displaying blue-and-white porcelain
- Coral upholstered chairs with diamond-patterned backs
- Floral-print banquette seating
- A new floral-patterned carpet
- Citrus topiaries throughout the room
The result feels like a garden café, which suits a resort that’s all about Victorian elegance and Florida sunshine.
Hours From November 2
Grand Floridian Café drops brunch and returns to separate menus for each meal:
- Breakfast: 7:30 am to 11:00 am
- Lunch: 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Dinner: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Reservations are available on My Disney Experience.
What Changed From Before
Before the refurbishment, Grand Floridian Café had been running brunch. Now it’s back to three distinct meal periods, each with its own menu. That gives you more flexibility, whether you want a quick breakfast before the monorail or a sit-down dinner after a park day.
Getting to Grand Floridian Café
Grand Floridian Café is on the ground floor of the main building at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, just off the lobby. Getting there is easy from much of the Magic Kingdom area:
- Resort Monorail: The Grand Floridian is a stop on the resort monorail loop, along with Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, and the Polynesian.
- Walking path: There’s a walkway between Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian, which makes the café a good lunch escape from the park.
- Boat: Watercraft also connect the resort with Magic Kingdom across Seven Seas Lagoon.
A Good Time to Visit
The reopening lands right at the start of the holiday season. The Grand Floridian lobby is one of the most popular holiday stops at Walt Disney World, and a breakfast or lunch at the café is an easy way to see the decorations without a separate trip. If you’re planning a holiday visit, book a meal and give yourself extra time to wander the lobby before or after.
Is It Worth Booking?
Grand Floridian Café has always been a nice, easier-to-book alternative to the resort’s signature restaurants. You get the Grand Floridian atmosphere without the price or dress code of places like Victoria & Albert’s or Narcoossee’s.
Here’s who will love it:
- Resort guests who want a sit-down breakfast without leaving the hotel
- Monorail hoppers looking for a calm lunch break between parks
- Families who want a nicer meal that’s still relaxed
- Fans of the resort who just want to see the new look
Tips for Your Visit
- Book through My Disney Experience. All three meals are open for reservations.
- Go for breakfast if you want the new cinnamon roll and the dining room at its brightest.
- Pair it with a resort stroll. The Grand Floridian lobby is especially beautiful during the holidays, with its famous gingerbread house.
- Check prices before you go. Menu items and prices can change after a reopening.
The Bottom Line
Grand Floridian Café reopened November 2, 2026, with a lighter, garden-inspired dining room and four new dishes: an Apple Butter-Cinnamon Roll ($8), The Club ($19), a Cobb Salad ($21), and plant-based Fried Green Tomatoes ($12). Brunch is gone, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner each have their own menu again. Book on My Disney Experience and plan a stop the next time you’re on the monorail loop.
