Two scavenger hunts, both $11.99, and you get a prize even if you don’t finish. The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is running Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak for the full festival and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit timed to Halloween season.
The EPCOT Food and Wine scavenger hunts each cost $11.99 plus tax and reward you with a festival keepsake regardless of completion.
Here’s how each works, the dates, and when they overlap.
Quick Summary
- Remy’s Hide & Squeak runs August 27 through November 21, 2026
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit runs September 25 through November 2, 2026
- Both cost $11.99 plus tax
- You get a prize even with an incomplete map or game board
- Game board purchases are limited to five per guest for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
- Both overlap between September 25 and November 2
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak
Remy’s Hide & Squeak runs for the entire festival, from August 27 through November 21, 2026, throughout World Showcase and the Global Marketplaces.
How it works:
1. Purchase a scavenger hunt map and sticker set for $11.99 plus tax — available at Disney Traders, Creations Shop, festival markets, and other select shops, while supplies last
2. Search for Remy statuettes hidden around World Showcase and the Global Marketplaces. Add a sticker to your map after each find
3. Bring your completed — or even incomplete — map to Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler to claim a special prize
It’s a good way to cover more ground around World Showcase, particularly if you’re visiting with kids. Maps and prizes are available while supplies last.
Why the “Incomplete Is Fine” Rule Matters
This is the detail that makes these hunts worth buying, and a lot of people don’t realize it.
You get the prize either way. You are not gambling $11.99 on your ability to find every statuette. You’re effectively buying a keepsake that comes with an activity attached.
That reframes the value entirely. If you were on the fence because you doubted your family would finish, finish.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a limited-time Halloween scavenger hunt running from September 25 through November 2, 2026.
Instead of hunting for Remy, you’re tracking down Disney character-themed decorative pumpkins hidden around the park.
How it works:
1. Purchase a game board and sticker set for $11.99 plus tax at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, World Traveler at International Gateway, or festival merchandise kiosks — while supplies last
2. Hunt for Disney-themed pumpkins around the festival and add the matching sticker to your game board after each discovery
3. Bring your game board — complete or not — to Creations Shop, Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler to collect a spooky festival keepsake
A few things to note:
- Game board purchases are limited to five per guest
- Each board earns one keepsake
- The game board is valid for redemption through November 2, 2026, or while supplies last
- Discounts may be available — ask at the time of purchase
- Dates and details are subject to change without notice
Ask About Discounts
That “discounts may be available” line is easy to skim past and worth acting on.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members frequently receive discounts on festival merchandise and activities. It isn’t always advertised at the register.
Ask. The worst outcome is being told no.
Planning Around Both Hunts
If you want to do both, visit between September 25 and November 2 — that’s the window when Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit and Remy’s Hide & Squeak overlap.
Outside that window, only Remy’s hunt is available.
Both activities are separate purchases and run independently of each other. Doing both means $23.98 plus tax and two keepsakes.
The Ideal Window Is Narrower Than You Think
Stack the dates and one window stands out.
Between September 25 and November 2, you can do:
- Remy’s Hide & Squeak
- Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
- “Cheers to Cheese!” at CommuniCore Hall, which runs September 18 through November 8
- Emile’s Fromage Montage, running throughout the festival
That’s every major festival activity available simultaneously. If you’re planning one EPCOT day around Food & Wine programming rather than just eating, target that five-week window.
Are They Worth It?
Worth it if you’re visiting with children. Scavenger hunts convert a long World Showcase walk from a slog into a game, and that’s genuinely valuable with kids who tire of a food festival quickly.
Worth it if you like the keepsakes. The prizes are festival-specific items that change year to year.
Skip it if you’re doing a focused eating-and-drinking day. The hunts pull you around the park on a route that may not match where the food you want is.
Buy early in your visit rather than late. Both are subject to “while supplies last,” and the hunt is more fun spread across a day than rushed at the end.
The Bottom Line
The EPCOT Food and Wine scavenger hunts for 2026 are Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, running August 27 through November 21, and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, running September 25 through November 2. Both are $11.99 plus tax.
You get a keepsake whether or not you complete the map, game boards are limited to five per guest, and discounts may be available if you ask.
Visit between September 25 and November 2 to do both, plus the cheese exhibit and Emile’s Fromage Montage in the same trip.
