Chicken Guy! Launches Weekend Breakfast Menu

Chicken and waffles for $7.49 before 11am. Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs is now serving breakfast on weekends, with a menu covering sandwiches, bowls, wraps, and a few sweet options.

Quick Summary

  • Breakfast runs 9am–11am, Friday through Sunday only
  • No breakfast Monday through Thursday
  • Five sandwich options from $5.49
  • Breakfast bowl, wrap, chicken and waffles, and French toast sticks
  • Nothing on the menu is over $7.49
  • Chicken Guy! is in the Town Center area of Disney Springs

The Hours

  • Friday: Breakfast 9 am – 11 am | Lunch + Dinner 11 am – 11 pm
  • Saturday: Breakfast 9 am – 11 am | Lunch + Dinner 11 am – 11 pm
  • Sunday: Breakfast 9 am – 11 am | Lunch + Dinner 11 am – 10:30 am
  • Monday through Thursday: 11 am – 10:30 pm (no breakfast service)

Note the two-hour window. Breakfast is 9am to 11am and weekends only — a narrow slot that’s easy to miss if you’re planning around it.

Breakfast Sandwiches

  • Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich — $6.99 (smoked bacon, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun)
  • Chicken, Egg & Cheese Sandwich — $7.49 (crispy chicken, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun)
  • Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich — $6.99 (breakfast sausage, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, brioche bun)
  • Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit — $6.49 (breakfast sausage, freshly cracked egg, cheddar, special sauce, buttery biscuit)
  • Sausage Biscuit — $5.49 (breakfast sausage on a buttery biscuit)

Breakfast Specialties

  • Breakfast Bowl — $7.49 (chopped crispy chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, cheddar, smoked bacon, side of salsa)
  • Breakfast Wrap — $6.99 (chopped crispy chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, breakfast tots, cheddar, flour tortilla, side of salsa)
  • Chicken & Waffles — $7.49 (crispy chicken tenders with a buttermilk waffle, powdered sugar, whipped maple butter, syrup)
  • French Toast Sticks — $7.49 (crispy French toast sticks coated with apple cinnamon cereal crunch, whipped maple butter, syrup)

Sides and Beverages

Breakfast Tots run $2.99 on their own.

You can add a side of breakfast tots plus coffee or hot tea as a combo, or substitute juice or iced coffee for $1 more.

Beverages:

  • Coffee — $4.99 (Cold Brew, Regular, Vanilla, Mocha, Salted Caramel, Hunny Bunny)
  • Tea — $3.49 (same flavor options as coffee)
  • Fountain drinks — $3.99 (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Gold Peak Sweet Tea, Barq’s Root Beer, Fanta Orange, Lemonade)
  • Milk — $3.49 (Regular or Chocolate)
  • Apple Juice (Bottle) — $3.49
  • Orange Juice (Bottle) — $3.49

This Is Genuinely Cheap for Property

Worth stating plainly, because it’s the whole reason to care.

Nothing on this menu exceeds $7.49. A sausage biscuit is $5.49. That is close to off-property fast food pricing, inside a Walt Disney World shopping district.

Compare it to the alternatives. Breakfast at Disney Springs generally means a table-service reservation, a $6 bakery pastry that isn’t a meal, or a quick-service counter running $10–$15 for a comparable plate.

Chicken and waffles at $7.49 is the standout value — that dish routinely runs $15–$20 elsewhere on property.

The coffee is where they get you back. $4.99 is steep for drip coffee, and $3.49 for a bottled orange juice is standard Disney beverage markup. Build a combo and the value narrows.

Why Weekends Only

Disney hasn’t explained, but the reasoning isn’t hard to reconstruct.

Disney Springs is a weekend destination for locals in a way the parks aren’t. It’s free to enter, free to park, and draws Central Florida residents for shopping and dining without a ticket.

A two-hour weekend breakfast tests demand at minimal cost — no additional staffing on weekdays, no commitment to a full daypart, easy to extend if it works.

Watch for it going daily. If the weekend service performs, expanding to seven days is the obvious next step.

Where to Find It

Chicken Guy! is in the Town Center area of Disney Springs — the retail-forward district on the eastern side, near the parking garages.

That’s convenient for a breakfast stop. Town Center is the first thing you reach from the Orange and Lime garages, so you can eat on arrival without walking the length of the complex.

Guy Fieri’s restaurant has operated at Disney Springs since 2018, built around chicken tenders and a wall of signature dipping sauces.

How It Compares to Other Disney Springs Breakfast

Disney Springs breakfast options are thinner than the complex’s size suggests, which is what makes this notable.

Table service means a reservation and a bill — The Boathouse, Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming, and Paddlefish all serve weekend brunch at signature pricing.

Bakery and coffee covers Erin McKenna’s Bakery, Amorette’s Patisserie, and Starbucks — good for a pastry, not a meal.

Quick service breakfast is where the gap is. Wetzel’s, Blaze Pizza, and most of Town Center don’t open until late morning, and the ones that do skew toward snacks.

Chicken Guy! at $5.49 to $7.49 for a full breakfast plate is the cheapest actual meal at Disney Springs in that window, and it opens at 9am — earlier than most of the complex.

The Catch

Two hours, three days a week is a narrow target. If your Disney Springs day is a Tuesday, this doesn’t exist for you.

It also doesn’t help park guests. Disney Springs is a separate destination from the four parks, and nobody is making a special trip for a $6.99 breakfast sandwich before rope drop.

The realistic audience is locals, resort guests on a non-park day, and people already heading to Disney Springs for a morning of shopping. For that group it’s a genuinely good option.

What to Order

Best value: the Sausage Biscuit at $5.49. It’s the cheapest item and a buttermilk biscuit is harder to get wrong than a brioche bun.

Best dish: Chicken & Waffles at $7.49. It’s the item that uses what the restaurant is actually built around — crispy chicken tenders — and it’s a fraction of what the same plate costs elsewhere on property.

Best for sharing: the Breakfast Bowl at $7.49, which combines tenders, eggs, tots, cheddar, and bacon in one container.

Skip: the coffee at $4.99 unless you need it. Bottled juice at $3.49 is similarly steep.

The Bottom Line

Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs now serves breakfast 9am to 11am on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with five sandwiches from $5.49, a breakfast bowl and wrap, chicken and waffles, and French toast sticks — nothing above $7.49.

Breakfast tots are $2.99, coffee is $4.99, and combos are available.

No breakfast Monday through Thursday.

I’m no stranger to Disney planning, as a Disneyland magic key holder and DVC member. I’m the person people ask for trip planning advice. But I had never been on a Disney cruise, and had heard great about Nate and decided to reach out. I’m so glad I did because we could not have been happier with our experience. His tips and insights were incredibly helpful, and he was incredibly responsive any time we had a question. Who do the Disney experts turn to when they need help? Nate, that’s who. We’ll definitely be using him again.

We were able to really relax and focus on quality time as a family and have so much fun doing it! I will definitely reach out for any future trips.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions. On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over. He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. He also helped us at the 11th hour when we added a family member to our travel group less than a month before our trip. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Nate when I'm ready to plan my next trip to Disney World!

We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going. There was a lot to consider and many decisions to make, such as where to stay, when to go, and what to experience. Nate really helped us narrow down what we wanted to do overall, but he didn’t stop there. He provided detailed guides to help us navigate the airport and find our transportation to the resort, as well as a guide to explore the resorts and make sure we saw the best Christmas decorations. One of the many amazing things he also did was set up our dinner reservations for us. This saved us so much stress and allowed us to get some of our top choices. From the moment we landed in Orlando to the moment we headed back home, he made sure everything went smoothly. You truly can’t go wrong with going to him for your next trip.

Nathan has been an amazing trip planner for me! So helpful and responsive. I am a very type A person -- so someone who is even more on top of their game than me -- is so so appreciated! Nathan has booked 3 trips for me (1 completed 2 pending) and it was perfection. Thanks again!

Nate has helped us with our vacation planning for the last couple of years and we couldn't be happier with his service and expertise. We've used other travel agents in the past and none of them have done as phenomenal a job to make sure every detail is taken care of as he has. Switching to Nate was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's always quick to answer questions and works tirelessly to make sure we get everything we want from our trips. Plus, he's just a genuinely great person who is wonderful to work with. Whether you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or any other vacation, Nate is the guy you want putting it all together! Five stars across the board!
