Hey Disney Vacationers! Get ready to raise your glass—The Beak and Barrel, the long-rumored Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge at Magic Kingdom, officially opens on August 29, 2025.
This isn’t just another snack stop. It’s the first fully themed bar at Magic Kingdom with a full cocktail menu, immersive storytelling, and nods to both the original Pirates of the Caribbean ride and the blockbuster films. For a look inside, check out our previous article.
If you’ve ever wanted to drink rum like Jack Sparrow (legally, of course), you’re going to love what’s coming. Here’s everything you need to know, including the Beak and Barrel opening date, reservation info, and the complete food and drink menu.
Where Is The Beak and Barrel?
You’ll find the Beak and Barrel tucked right near the entrance to Adventureland’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction—making it a natural pitstop whether you’re heading in or sailing out.
Disney says the lounge will be open to pirates of all ages, with a mix of non-alcoholic mocktails, kid-friendly snacks, bold small plates, and tropical cocktails. The atmosphere includes sing-alongs, storytelling, and themed surprises, making it more than just a bar—it’s an experience.
Reservations open August 14 on the My Disney Experience app and Disney website.

First Look at the Menu at The Beak and Barrel
Let’s break open the treasure chest and explore everything that’s been announced so far:
Non-Alcoholic Drinks
The Treasure Trove | $13.75
This colorful mocktail is as much a treat for your eyes as it is for your taste buds. A mix of ube, lemon, and coconut creates a layered flavor that’s part tropical, part creamy. It’s served with three sweet snacks: a vanilla cake plank, a chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn. Kids and sweet-toothed adults alike are going to want to try this one.
The Cursed Treasure | $7.75
This cookies-and-cream inspired drink mixes coconut milk, cookie crumbs, and vanilla foam, and is topped off with a golden pirate coin-shaped cookie. It’s rich, smooth, and photogenic—basically dessert in a cup.

Food Offerings
Kraken’s Catch | $18
This cold seafood salad leans heavily into adventure. You’ll get lemon and lime-marinated octopus tentacles paired with green olives, red bell peppers, avocado, and topped with a piquillo pepper-almond foam. It’s bold and citrusy with a bit of a Mediterranean-Caribbean twist. For adventurous eaters only.
Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes | $14 (Chicken) | $12 (Poblano Peppers)
These are like pirate arepas, made with warm cornmeal cakes stuffed with gooey melted cheese, topped with lime sour cream, a sprinkle of chili pepper, and cotija cheese. There are two versions: one with roasted corn and poblano peppers, and another with chipotle-braised chicken. Hearty and satisfying, these are a must-order.
Island Provisions | $16
This sharable platter is full of plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and crispy flatbread, served with savory dips inspired by Caribbean and Central American cuisine. Great for snacking with your crew.

Cocktails for Adult Pirates
Salty Seas mARRRgarita | $20
This purple beauty features ube (which gives it that vivid color), plus Lalo Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. The result is a smooth, tangy margarita with a subtle sweetness. It’s a tropical take on a classic.
Siren’s Whisper | $20
This Fountain-of-Youth-inspired cocktail combines Pot & Column Still White Rum, bright citrus, warm spices, and is topped with a special “siren tear” that adds a shimmer to the drink. It’s light and mysterious—just like a siren’s call.
Barrels Ablaze | $19
For the bourbon lovers, this one brings Jack Daniel’s Bonded Bourbon, a hint of honey, and a punch of spice. It’s warm, smoky, and perfect for sipping slowly.
Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale | $19
This lightly sweet, rum-based cocktail mixes hibiscus, citrus, and demerara syrup, and is topped with bubbly prosecco. It’s bright, refreshing, and feels like a Caribbean breeze in a glass.
Port of Call | $19
This gin-based drink brings together London Dry Gin, Ruby Port, lemon juice, and spiced cranberry. The port gives it depth and sweetness, while the lemon keeps it crisp.
Lit Fuse | $18.50
This one’s for the mezcal fans. Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal is mixed with flavors of banana, coconut, and smoked chili bitters, creating a smoky, tropical cocktail with a spicy finish.
Plunderer’s Punch | $46
This one’s got flair—Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, vanilla, and citrus make it rich and fruit-forward. It comes in a souvenir pirate skull mug, available one per guest while supplies last. Expect this to be one of the most Instagrammed drinks at Disney.

Final Thoughts: The Beak and Barrel Opening Date and Why It Matters
The Beak and Barrel opens August 29, 2025, with reservations going live August 14. This is a big deal. Magic Kingdom doesn’t typically get venues like this—fully themed, story-rich, with a cocktail menu and exclusive merchandise.
From bold flavors to a one-of-a-kind environment, The Beak and Barrel is built for both longtime fans and first-time visitors. If you’re planning a trip this fall, this needs to be on your Magic Kingdom list.
