Jack Skellington fragrance from Bath & Body Works

Jack Skellington Fragrance

The Jack Skellington scent combines:

  • Pumpkin Screams
  • Glowing Palo Santo
  • Spooky Spiced Vanilla

Bath & Body Works describes it as warm and cozy, matching the Pumpkin King’s persona.

Palo Santo is the interesting note in that trio. It’s a resinous, slightly sweet wood with a smoky character — genuinely distinctive and not a standard seasonal note. Pairing it with pumpkin and spiced vanilla keeps the scent recognizably autumnal while giving it something less generic than a pumpkin spice base.

“Warm and cozy” is also a defensible read of the character. Jack isn’t menacing — he’s an enthusiast who genuinely loves what he does and accidentally ruins Christmas out of excitement. A warm fragrance fits him better than something sharp would.

Sally fragrance from Bath & Body Works

Sally Fragrance

The Sally scent pairs:

  • Ghastly Blooms
  • Berry Patchwork
  • Forbidden Tonka

It leans sweeter than the Jack Skellington scent, with an eerie edge that fits her character.

Tonka bean is a strong choice here. It’s warm, sweet, and almond-vanilla adjacent, and it’s one of the more sophisticated bases in mainstream fragrance. “Forbidden Tonka” as a name is doing marketing work, but tonka genuinely anchors a scent well.

“Berry Patchwork” is the clever one — a direct reference to Sally being stitched together from patchwork, rendered as a fragrance note rather than just a product name.

Which One Should You Buy?

Jack if you want something you’d actually wear through autumn. Pumpkin, palo santo, and spiced vanilla is a wearable seasonal combination that works past Halloween.

Sally if you prefer sweeter florals or you want the more distinctive scent. Berry and tonka with floral notes is less common in seasonal releases.

Both if you’re collecting rather than wearing — which, realistically, is a lot of this audience.

What’s in the Collection

The Nightmare Before Christmas collection includes:

  • Fine fragrance mist
  • Body wash
  • Ultimate hydration body cream
  • Candles
  • Foaming hand soap
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Decorative home accessories

Beyond the two main fragrances, the collection adds accessories featuring Zero, Oogie Boogie, and the Mayor of Halloween Town.

The Accessories Are the Collector Items

Here’s the practical read on this collection.

Fragrance sells out slowly. Accessories sell out fast.

Bath & Body Works character-themed accessories — the decorative soap holders, sanitizer holders, and candle accessories — are the pieces that disappear within days and appear on resale sites at multiples of retail. That’s been the pattern across their Disney, Halloween, and holiday collaborations for years.

Zero and Oogie Boogie holders in particular will move fastest. Zero is a glowing ghost dog, which suits an illuminated accessory. Oogie Boogie is the most visually distinctive villain design in the film.

If you want accessories, August 16 as a Rewards member is the play. The 24-hour head start is genuinely meaningful for this category.

The Rewards Member Head Start

Bath & Body Works Rewards members can shop the collection online starting August 16.

It opens to everyone in stores and online at bathandbodyworks.com on August 17.

Rewards membership is free to join. If you’re planning to buy anything from this collection and you aren’t a member, sign up before August 16 — it costs nothing and buys you a full day of priority.

That single day matters more than it sounds for collections like this. Popular accessories routinely sell through during member early access.

Why Nightmare Before Christmas Keeps Working

Thirty-three years after release, this film has an unusually durable merchandising life, and the reason is structural.

It spans two seasons. A Halloween property that’s also a Christmas property has roughly four months of retail relevance instead of six weeks. Bath & Body Works can run this collection into the holiday season without it feeling out of place.

The character designs are graphically strong. Jack, Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie are silhouettes you recognize instantly, which makes them ideal for product design.

The audience aged into buying power. People who saw it as children in 1993 are in their forties now, and they buy candles.

The Bottom Line

The Bath & Body Works Nightmare Before Christmas collection launches for Halloween 2026 with a Jack Skellington fragrance of Pumpkin Screams, Glowing Palo Santo, and Spooky Spiced Vanilla, and a Sally fragrance of Ghastly Blooms, Berry Patchwork, and Forbidden Tonka.

The full range covers mists, body wash, body cream, candles, hand soap, sanitizer, and decorative accessories featuring Zero, Oogie Boogie, and the Mayor.

Rewards members shop online August 16; everyone else August 17. Join Rewards before the 16th if the accessories matter to you — they’re what sells out.
