Super Bowl LXI streams on Disney+ on February 14, 2027. If you have a Disney+ subscription, you can watch the Super Bowl without a cable login, an antenna, or a separate sports package.
It is also ESPN’s first Super Bowl broadcast, which is the bigger story underneath the streaming headline.
Quick Summary
- Super Bowl LXI airs February 14, 2027 on ESPN, ABC, and Disney+
- All U.S. Disney+ subscribers get the main ESPN/ABC telecast — no add-on required
- Commentary team: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge
- The ESPN Deportes Spanish-language broadcast also streams on Disney+
- The ESPN App carries more than Disney+ does, including the ManningCast
- Two Monday Night Football games stream on Disney+ this fall as a warm-up
- Disney+ carries the game in more than 55 international markets
- Ad inventory sold out earlier than any Super Bowl in history
What Disney+ Gets You
All U.S. Disney+ subscribers can stream:
- The main ESPN/ABC telecast with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge
- The Spanish-language broadcast on ESPN Deportes
That is the game itself, in two languages, included with a standard subscription. No sports tier, no upcharge.
The ESPN App Carries More — This Is the Part to Read
If you care about the surrounding coverage rather than just the game, Disney+ is the lesser option. The ESPN App adds:
- The ManningCast with Peyton and Eli on ESPN2
- All Super Bowl Sunday studio programming
- Programming throughout Super Bowl week
- Every Monday Night Football game all season
The ManningCast is the specific thing to note. For a lot of viewers that alternate broadcast is how they watch, and it is not on Disney+. If you were planning to run the Mannings on a second screen, you need the ESPN App, not Disney+.
So the honest framing: Disney+ is the convenient way to watch the game. The ESPN App is the way to watch the Super Bowl.
Monday Night Football on Disney+ This Fall
Before February, two Monday Night Football regular-season games stream on Disney+:
- Week 7: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles — Monday, October 26
- A second game, to be announced
Both continue to air on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN Deportes as scheduled.
Cowboys–Eagles is not a random pick. It is the most reliably large audience in the NFL’s Monday night inventory, and putting it on Disney+ is a stress test of the platform’s live streaming at genuine scale. Treat October 26 as the dress rehearsal — if Disney+ struggles with that game, that is the signal worth watching ahead of February.
International Coverage
Outside the U.S., Disney+ carries ESPN’s Super Bowl LXI in more than 55 international markets, including:
- Spanish-speaking Latin America
- Brazil
- The Caribbean
- South Africa
- Australia and New Zealand
Combined with ESPN’s linear platforms, the game reaches more than 130 countries and territories.
Super Bowl Week in Santa Monica
ESPN is turning Santa Monica Beach into ESPN Beach starting February 8, running as a broadcast hub for ESPN and ABC through Super Bowl Sunday.
There is also a free fan experience on the Santa Monica Pier with interactive games, immersive experiences, themed merchandise, and food. Free is the operative word — if you happen to be in Los Angeles that week, it costs nothing to walk through.
The Ad Story Says Something
Commercial inventory for Super Bowl LXI sold out earlier than any Super Bowl in history. As of Disney’s Q3 2026 earnings call, 58 brands across 34 categories had units locked in, including nine first-time Super Bowl advertisers.
That is worth pausing on. Advertisers committed to a Super Bowl faster than ever for the first one ESPN has ever broadcast — an untested configuration. Nine first-time advertisers suggests the streaming distribution is expanding the pitch rather than just moving the same buyers around.
What This Has to Do With the Parks
Directly, nothing. This is a Disney+ and ESPN story, not a Walt Disney World one.
Indirectly, Presidents Day weekend is one of the busier winter stretches at the parks, and the Super Bowl falling on February 14, 2027 puts it on Valentine’s Day and the Sunday of that weekend. If you are planning a February 2027 trip, that is a date worth knowing — resort sports bars and lounges will be packed, and it is a reasonable night to plan an early park exit.
What Disney Hasn’t Said Yet
Several things that will matter closer to the date are still open, and it is worth knowing which questions do not have answers yet rather than assuming they do.
- Kickoff time. Not announced in this release.
- The halftime performer. No word here either.
- Whether the Disney+ stream carries the full ad load, or how it differs between the ad-supported and ad-free tiers. For a broadcast where the commercials are part of the appeal, that is a genuine question.
- Video quality. Nothing has been said about 4K or HDR on the Disney+ feed.
- Whether the second Monday Night Football game on Disney+ has been picked.
That last one is minor. The ad-load question is the one that could actually change how you choose to watch, so expect it to get asked repeatedly between now and February.
The Bottom Line
Super Bowl LXI is on Disney+, ESPN, and ABC on February 14, 2027. Disney+ gets you the game and the Spanish-language feed with a standard subscription.
If you want the ManningCast and the week-long coverage, you want the ESPN App instead. And watch the Cowboys–Eagles stream on October 26 — that is the real test of whether Disney+ can handle February.
