What the Offer Is

Disney Cruise Line released sailing schedules for most of its fleet covering September 2027 to April 2028. In conjunction, DVC published early news of an offer to save on the price of the cruise, plus the stateroom credit.

Only select sailings on the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder qualify.

Exact dates and point schedules will be published soon.

The $250 Credit Has a Deadline and a Condition

Two things to get right here.

The deadline: book by October 31, 2026. The 20% discount and the stateroom credit are separate — the credit is the early-booking incentive, and it expires.

The condition: at least one passenger must be booked with DVC points in order to qualify for the cabin credit.

That second point is the one that trips people up. A pure cash booking by a DVC owner doesn’t earn the credit. Someone in the stateroom has to be on points.

Booking Dates

Booking for the Fall 2027 – Spring 2028 itineraries through DVC Member Services opens September 3, 2026.

Castaway Club members can book earlier:

Note that Silver and DVC Member Services both open September 3 — so for lower Castaway tiers there’s no advantage either way.

Pearl members get a three-day head start, which matters on the more contested itineraries.

The Important Caveat on Points

This is the part worth reading twice before you book.

Points used toward Disney cruises are converted to Reservation Points, and they carry restrictions in the event of a cancellation or reschedule. Additional fees may apply.

Why That Matters

Reservation Points are not the same as your ordinary DVC points, and the conversion is generally regarded within the DVC community as poor value on a straight points-per-dollar basis.

The flexibility loss is the bigger issue. Standard DVC points have well-understood banking and borrowing rules. Once converted for a cruise, the cancellation and reschedule terms tighten considerably.

The conventional wisdom among experienced members is that using points for cruises is usually worse value than renting those points out and paying cash — you typically get more nights of accommodation value from the points than you get cruise value.

This offer changes that maths somewhat. A 20% discount plus $250 back narrows the gap. But the underlying conversion economics and the restrictions haven’t changed.

Run the numbers against renting your points before committing.

Which Ships Qualify

Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder — select sailings only.

Notably absent: the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny, and Disney Adventure.

That’s a sensible read on demand. The Wish-class ships are Disney’s newest and sell well without discounting. The Dream, Fantasy, and Wonder are the older vessels, and they’re the ones being repositioned to Fort Lauderdale, San Diego, and Galveston in the new schedule as Port Canaveral takes on three Wish-class ships.

Discounts land on the ships that need help filling, which is normal across the industry and worth knowing when you evaluate the offer.

There’s a Current Offer Too

A similar discounted cruise offer already exists for DVC owners on dates in late 2026 and early 2027, aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Wonder.

If your travel window is sooner, check that one rather than waiting for 2027–28.

What’s Still Coming

  • Exact qualifying sailing dates
  • Point schedules and charts
  • Cash rates

Visit the DVC website for additional details as they’re published.

The Bottom Line

DVC owners get a 20% discount on select Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder sailings in the new Fall 2027 – Spring 2028 schedule, plus a $250 stateroom credit for bookings made by October 31, 2026.

At least one passenger must be booked on points for the credit. DVC Member Services booking opens September 3, with Castaway Club windows from August 31.

Points convert to Reservation Points with tighter cancellation terms — compare against renting your points before you commit.

I’m no stranger to Disney planning, as a Disneyland magic key holder and DVC member. I’m the person people ask for trip planning advice. But I had never been on a Disney cruise, and had heard great about Nate and decided to reach out. I’m so glad I did because we could not have been happier with our experience. His tips and insights were incredibly helpful, and he was incredibly responsive any time we had a question. Who do the Disney experts turn to when they need help? Nate, that’s who. We’ll definitely be using him again.

Our experience working with Nate as our Disney vacation planner was exceptional. He was responsive and thorough. He gave us insights that made the trip go much more smoothly. We were able to really relax and focus on quality time as a family and have so much fun doing it! I will definitely reach out for any future trips.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions. On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over. He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. He also helped us at the 11th hour when we added a family member to our travel group less than a month before our trip. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Nate when I'm ready to plan my next trip to Disney World!

We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going. There was a lot to consider and many decisions to make, such as where to stay, when to go, and what to experience. Nate really helped us narrow down what we wanted to do overall, but he didn’t stop there. He provided detailed guides to help us navigate the airport and find our transportation to the resort, as well as a guide to explore the resorts and make sure we saw the best Christmas decorations. One of the many amazing things he also did was set up our dinner reservations for us. This saved us so much stress and allowed us to get some of our top choices. From the moment we landed in Orlando to the moment we headed back home, he made sure everything went smoothly. You truly can’t go wrong with going to him for your next trip.

Nathan has been an amazing trip planner for me! So helpful and responsive. I am a very type A person -- so someone who is even more on top of their game than me -- is so so appreciated! Nathan has booked 3 trips for me (1 completed 2 pending) and it was perfection. Thanks again!

Nate has helped us with our vacation planning for the last couple of years and we couldn't be happier with his service and expertise. We've used other travel agents in the past and none of them have done as phenomenal a job to make sure every detail is taken care of as he has. Switching to Nate was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's always quick to answer questions and works tirelessly to make sure we get everything we want from our trips. Plus, he's just a genuinely great person who is wonderful to work with. Whether you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or any other vacation, Nate is the guy you want putting it all together! Five stars across the board!
