Planning around the 3:45pm closing time is especially important because of how you get to Conservation Station. The Wildlife Express Train is the only way to reach it, departing from near Harambe Market in Africa. Factor in travel time on the train so you are not caught short when the experience closes.

Virtual Queue Strategy for Opening Day

There is no standby queue available during the initial opening period — virtual queue is the only way in. Disney is using the My Disney Experience app to distribute boarding groups, and the approach is identical to other virtual queue launches like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.

The 7am virtual queue drop remains your best option. You do not need to be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom to join at 7am — you can be anywhere as long as you have the MDE app open and ready. Joining at 7am gives you the highest probability of securing a boarding group before the day fills up.

Disney has confirmed that Bluey’s Wild World is expected to stay beyond summer 2026, making it a more permanent addition to Conservation Station rather than a purely seasonal installation. That is good news for families who cannot make the Memorial Day opening — there will be more chances to visit as the year continues.

Tips for Your Visit

Memorial Day weekend will be one of the busiest periods of the year at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The combination of a new Bluey experience, virtual queue-only access, and a shorter-than-park-day operating window creates significant demand on a single resource. Here is how to maximize your chances:

• Set an alarm for 6:55am and have MDE open and ready well before 7:00am
• Do not try to do this at the park gate — join from your hotel or wherever you are staying
• If you miss the 7am drop and there is a second distribution window, check MDE around mid-morning
• Plan to board the Wildlife Express Train at least 30-45 minutes before your boarding group window closes to make sure you reach Conservation Station in time
