Disney has confirmed that Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station will launch with a virtual queue only when it opens May 26, 2026 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There will be no standby line during the initial opening period — Disney says it expects to introduce one at a later date, but no timeline has been given. If you are planning a trip around the opening, here is everything you need to know about how the virtual queue works and what to expect when you get there.
This also marks the return of virtual queues to Walt Disney World for regular operations. Disney phased the system out in February 2025 after using it for high-demand openings including Rise of the Resistance, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The specific setup of Conservation Station — limited venue size, train-only access, and restricted restroom and food capacity — makes it a strong candidate for ongoing management beyond just the opening weeks.
Quick Summary
- Bluey’s Wild World opens May 26, 2026 at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — virtual queue only at launch
- Two daily boarding group drops: 7am and 10am via the My Disney Experience app
- At 7am you do not need to be inside the park; at 10am you must be physically inside Animal Kingdom
- Each guest can join the virtual queue only once per day
- The virtual queue covers the full Rafiki’s Planet Watch area, including the Wildlife Express Train
- Experience includes interactive Bluey games, character meets with Bluey and Bingo, Australian animals at Jumping Junction, and P.A.C.K. team host actors
- Only folding strollers are permitted on the Wildlife Express Train
How the Virtual Queue Works
The virtual queue runs through the My Disney Experience app. You request to join at one of two daily drop times: 7am or 10am. Both follow the same boarding group model Disney used for previous high-demand openings — groups are distributed at set times until they are gone for the day.
Here is the key difference between the two drops. At 7am, you only need valid admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and a park reservation if applicable. You do not need to be inside the park — you can join from your hotel room or even before you leave home. At 10am, the rules tighten: you need valid admission and you must be physically inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each guest can request to join once per day during regular park hours.
Getting to Conservation Station
Conservation Station is not a walk-in destination. To reach Bluey’s Wild World, Jumping Junction, or any of the Animal Care experiences, you have to take the Wildlife Express Train. The train station is located near Harambe Market in Africa — factor travel time into your plan once your boarding group is called.
One important note if you are visiting with young children: only folding strollers are permitted on the Wildlife Express Train. Standard strollers will not work, so plan accordingly before you head to the station.
What Is at Bluey’s Wild World?
Once you arrive at Conservation Station, the experience is built around interactive games inspired by Bluey episodes, character appearances by Bluey and Bingo, and photo opportunities. The P.A.C.K. team — Playful Animal Crew for Kids — are host actors who lead guests through the activities. One of those includes animal-themed game twists, like a butterfly version of Keepy Uppy from the show.
Jumping Junction is also part of the experience and now showcases animals native to Australia, replacing the former Affection Section petting zoo. It is a meaningful upgrade that ties the animal encounters directly into the Bluey theme while maintaining the educational nature Conservation Station is known for.
Tips for Securing a Boarding Group
The 7am drop is your best bet if you want a boarding group and flexibility in your morning. You can join before entering the park, which means you could potentially secure your spot while still getting breakfast or driving to the resort. Have the My Disney Experience app open and your party linked well before 7am — these drops move fast.
If you miss the 7am drop, the 10am drop requires you to already be inside Animal Kingdom. Plan your park arrival accordingly — give yourself enough time to get through the gate and be ready in the app before 10am hits. Once boarding groups are gone for the day, there is no standby alternative during this initial period, so the drops are your only shot at getting in.
Wrapping Up
Bluey’s Wild World is one of the biggest new experiences opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer, and the virtual queue launch means you will need a strategy to get in. Lock in your plan around the 7am or 10am drops, know the train logistics before you go, and get that My Disney Experience app ready. May 26 is the date to watch — start building your game plan now.
