Disney Store Limited Time: What You Need to Know
Disney Store Limited Time is a new pop-up retail concept designed to bring Disney shopping back into physical mall spaces. The stores will carry authentic Disney merchandise alongside immersive in-store designs and products available exclusively through Disney Store.
The limited-time, pop-up nature of the concept fits the modern retail landscape — experiences over permanence, with signature Disney touches throughout. Each location will also feature Disney’s classic opening ceremony, which is always a fun event if you can catch one.
Disney Store Limited Time Locations
Ross Park Mall — Pittsburgh, PA
Opening: May 23, 2026
The first location to open is at Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh. If you’re in the Pittsburgh area, May 23 is the date to mark on your calendar. Grand opening details haven’t been announced yet, but Disney says more info is coming soon.
Westfield Garden State Plaza — Paramus, NJ
Opening: Fall 2026
The second announced location is at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey — one of the biggest malls on the East Coast. No specific date has been set yet for the fall opening.
Why This Matters for Disney Fans
Disney closed most of its physical Disney Store locations between 2020 and 2021, shifting focus to shopDisney online. Having physical stores back — even as pop-ups — means fans can browse, discover unexpected finds, and experience that in-person Disney retail magic that the website just can’t replicate.
The exclusive merchandise angle is especially interesting. If past Disney Store pop-ups and exclusive products are any guide, there will be items you simply can’t get online.
More Locations Could Be Coming
Only two locations have been announced so far, but the language from Disney suggests this is a broader initiative. The Disney Store Limited Time concept sounds like it could expand to additional malls if these initial pop-ups perform well.
We’ll keep you updated here at DisMornings as more locations and grand opening details are announced. If you’re near Pittsburgh or northern New Jersey, keep an eye on May 23 for the first one.
