What Is V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days?
V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days is Disney’s annual summer event designed exclusively for Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World. It runs from May 1 through July 31, 2026, and includes a variety of perks — exclusive merchandise, limited-time food and beverage items, collectible magnets, special discounts, and the return of the fan-favorite Passholder Lounge.
This year’s edition is shaping up to be one of the bigger ones, with a solid dining discount being a centerpiece offering. If you’ve been on the fence about whether your Annual Pass is worth it, a summer dining discount at 12 locations is a compelling argument.
The Restaurant Discount: How It Works
Annual Passholders can save up to 40% at select Disney World restaurants, but the key word here is Monday through Thursday. The discount is not valid on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays — so if you’re planning to use it, you’ll need to be strategic about your dining reservations and visit days.
The discount covers 12 restaurants spread across all four Walt Disney World theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom — as well as a handful of resort hotels. Disney has not yet released the full list of participating locations, but expect the announcement to include a strong mix of table service options.
20% Off Restaurants
Two table-service restaurants are offering 20% off — both are new additions to the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days lineup in 2026:
- Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only) – Magic Kingdom
- The Crystal Palace (lunch and dinner) – Magic Kingdom
40% Off Restaurants
Ten restaurants are offering a deeper 40% discount:
- Biergarten Restaurant (lunch only) – EPCOT (new in 2026)
- Coral Reef Restaurant (dinner only) – EPCOT
- Garden Grill Restaurant (lunch and dinner) – EPCOT (new in 2026)
- Hollywood & Vine (breakfast, lunch and dinner) – Hollywood Studios
- Tiffins Restaurant (dinner only) – Animal Kingdom
- Tusker House Restaurant (lunch and dinner) – Animal Kingdom
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall (dinner only) – Disney’s Port Orleans Resort
- Cape May Cafe (dinner only) – Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood (dinner only) – Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Whispering Canyon Cafe (brunch and dinner) – Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Details
The discount applies to the regular price of food and non-alcoholic beverages. It does not cover alcohol, tax, or gratuity. The offer is for dine-in only and covers you plus up to three guests per visit.
The discount can’t be combined with other offers or promotions. Dining packages – including EPCOT festival dining packages and Fantasmic! Dining Packages – are excluded.
To use the discount, you’ll need to show your valid Annual Pass ID through the Tickets and Passes section of the My Disney Experience app, along with a valid photo ID.
Dining reservations are strongly recommended. Capacity at table-service restaurants is limited, and participating locations can change without notice.
If you’re planning a park visit, remember you’ll need valid admission and a park reservation, unless you’re visiting on a good-to-go day or arriving after 2pm. Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays requires a park reservation regardless.
The offer is for Passholders and, unless otherwise noted, up to three additional guests during each restaurant’s regular operating hours. You’ll need to show your valid Annual Pass at the time of your dining experience.
The Passholder Lounge Is Coming Back
One of the most beloved perks of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days is the exclusive Passholder Lounge, and it’s coming back in 2026. This year, the lounge will be located inside Restaurant Marrakesh at EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion, open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM.
The Passholder Lounge offers complimentary snacks, water, and Passholder buttons — a great place to rest your feet mid-day, especially on hot summer afternoons at EPCOT. It’s the kind of perk that sounds small but feels like a genuine treat when you’re in the middle of a long park day.
Is the Passholder Dining Discount Worth It?
Up to 40% off at Disney dining is genuinely significant. Table service at Disney World isn’t cheap, and a discount that large can make a real dent in your overall trip budget — especially if you’re planning multiple trips over the summer months.
The Monday-through-Thursday restriction does limit it somewhat, but that’s also when the parks tend to be less crowded, so there’s a secondary benefit to visiting on those days anyway. If you can plan your dining reservations around weekday visits from May through July, this discount could save you a meaningful amount.
V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days 2026 kicks off May 1 and runs through July 31. Keep an eye on DisMornings for the full list of participating restaurants and more details as Disney releases them.
