Who’s in the Disney Legends Class of 2026?

Disney pulled no punches with this year’s class. Here are all 11 honorees who will officially become Disney Legends in 2026:

  • Chris Berman
  • Jerry Bruckheimer
  • Susan Egan
  • Eric Goldberg
  • Anne Hathaway
  • Kim Irvine
  • Dwayne Johnson
  • Jonas Brothers
  • Lin-Manuel Miranda
  • Alan Tudyk
  • Bob Iger

That’s an absolutely wild list — from Hollywood heavyweights like Jerry Bruckheimer and Anne Hathaway, to beloved Disney voices like Susan Egan (Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, Meg in Hercules) and Alan Tudyk (who has appeared in basically every Disney and Pixar animated film of the last decade), to cultural icons like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Dwayne Johnson, and the Jonas Brothers. And of course, longtime Disney CEO Bob Iger rounding out the class.

Kim Irvine is a particularly meaningful inclusion — she’s been one of the creative forces behind Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion for decades and is a true Disney legend in every sense of the word. And Eric Goldberg, the legendary Disney animator behind the Genie in Aladdin and Phil in Hercules, is a long-overdue honoree.

When and Where Is the Disney Legends Ceremony?

The Disney Legends ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim. The event itself runs August 14–16, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center, hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

If you’ve ever attended D23, you know the Legends ceremony is one of the most emotional and memorable moments of the entire event. Watching your favorite creators, performers, and storytellers receive this honor — complete with a standing ovation from thousands of Disney fans — is something special. Bring tissues. Seriously.

What Does It Mean to Be a Disney Legend?

Becoming a Disney Legend is one of the highest honors The Walt Disney Company bestows. Each inductee receives a bronze statue, a window dedication on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland, and has their handprints placed in cement at the Disney Legends Plaza outside the Team Disney building in Burbank. It’s a legacy moment — something that literally becomes part of Disney history forever.

D23 2026 Tickets Go On Sale April 2

If you want to be in the room when these legends are honored, you’ll need to snag D23 tickets fast. Tickets go on sale April 2, 2026, and if history is any indication, they will move quickly. This is shaping up to be one of the most epic D23 events ever. The Class of 2026 is genuinely remarkable, and if you can make it to Anaheim in August, the Disney Legends ceremony alone is worth the trip.
