Disney Destiny Cocktails: First Look at the New Drinks Coming to the Lounges

Disney Destiny Cocktails

Hey Disney Vacationers! If you’re like me, one of the best parts of any Disney Cruise is checking out the lounges. The Disney Destiny, setting sail in November 2025, is taking that experience up a notch with brand-new themed cocktails you won’t find anywhere else. These drinks aren’t just beverages — they’re part of the storytelling that makes Disney Cruise Line so unique.

During the Disney Eats panel at Destination D23, Disney Cruise Line Beverage Operations Manager Ben Van Curen shared a first look at some of the exclusive drinks coming to the ship. Here’s what you can expect when you step inside the Destiny’s signature lounges.

The Ship Behind the Drinks

The Disney Destiny is the next addition to Disney Cruise Line’s Wish class of ships (joining the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure). This ship is built around the theme of heroes and villains, pulling from some of Disney’s most iconic stories. That concept comes to life everywhere on board, but it shines brightest in the lounges. The drinks themselves are an extension of the ship’s design, crafted to fit the lore and atmosphere of each space.

The Sanctum: A Marvel-Inspired Escape

One of the standout spaces on the Disney Destiny will be The Sanctum, the first lounge inspired by the mystical world of Doctor Strange. Picture stepping into a space filled with enchanted artifacts, spell books from Kamar-Taj, and even the iconic circular mirror behind the bar echoing the Sanctum’s famous window.

And the drink to match? The Mirror Dimension.
This cocktail blends Stoli Elit Vodka, Lychee, Fresh Lemon Juice, Pink Peppercorn, and Electricdust Buzz Rock. The real twist is the presentation — the glass reacts to touch, and the electrifying dust gives your taste buds a literal buzz. It’s equal parts drink and experience, designed to feel like a Doctor Strange spell come to life.

Haunted Mansion Parlor: Ghostly Elegance

Fans of spooky theming will love the Haunted Mansion Parlor, carried over from the Disney Treasure and brought aboard the Destiny with a refreshed menu. The star here is The Chilling Challenge: My Way.

This reimagined cocktail features Camus VSOP Cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu Sake, Orange Blossom Foam, and Edible Viola Flowers. It’s a mix that leans into refinement while still keeping that ghostly flair you’d expect from the Haunted Mansion.

While sipping, you’ll be surrounded by haunted portraits, eerie surprises, and an immersive backstory tied to a sea captain and his mysterious fiancé. Every detail pulls you deeper into the lore — and the drinks are crafted to match the vibe.

Cask & Cannon: A Pirate’s Pub

Finally, there’s Cask & Cannon, a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired tavern. This space feels like a pirate hideout filled with “acquired” treasures, barrels of rum, and the kind of atmosphere where you’ll want to trade tall tales with fellow cruisers.

One of the signature offerings is a rum-forward cocktail made with Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Pineapple, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, and Coconut Froth — even served with gold coins for extra pirate flair. Pair it with the live sports on screen or a plate of light bites, and you’ve got the perfect casual hangout.

Final Thoughts

The Disney Destiny cocktails aren’t just drinks — they’re part of the larger story Disney is telling across the ship’s lounges. From sorcery in The Sanctum, to ghostly gatherings in the Haunted Mansion Parlor, to pirate mischief at Cask & Cannon, each sip ties directly into the theming.

If you’re planning to sail on the Destiny after its launch in 2025, make time to try these lounges. The details, the storytelling, and yes, the cocktails, are shaping up to be one of the highlights of this new ship.
