If you’re driving anywhere near EPCOT this weekend, plan ahead. Wine & Dine road closures are in place on both race days of the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend: Saturday, October 24, for the 10K, and Sunday, October 25, for the Half Marathon.
Sunday is the big one. The Half Marathon brings more widespread closures, with Buena Vista Drive, several World Drive ramps, and Osceola Parkway connections affected well into the morning. Here’s the full list and how to work around it.
Quick Summary
- Road closures hit Walt Disney World on Saturday, October 24 (10K), and Sunday, October 25 (Half Marathon).
- Most Saturday closures run from about 3:00 am and clear by 9:00 am.
- Sunday’s closures are more extensive and mostly clear between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
- Buena Vista Drive, World Drive ramps, Osceola Parkway connections, and roads around EPCOT are affected.
- If you’re not running, avoid driving near EPCOT on both mornings until at least 9:30 am.
10K Road Closures: Saturday, October 24
Most 10K closures start around 3:00 am and clear by 9:00 am. Here’s the full list:
- Backstage Lane at Red Lot Entrance: 3:00 am – 8:00 am
- Epcot Parking Exit Loops to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:00 am – 7:30 am
- Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek: 3:00 am – 9:00 am
- Woodpecker Lane (Yellow Lot): 3:00 am – 9:00 am
- Crush Lot Exit Bridge to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:30 am – 7:30 am
- World Drive South Ramp to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:45 am – 7:30 am
- Epcot Center Drive West to Epcot Auto Plaza: 4:15 am – 7:30 am
- Epcot Center Drive West [Bonnet Creek to World Drive]: 4:15 am – 7:30 am
Saturday’s closures are concentrated around EPCOT and Bonnet Creek. If you’re staying elsewhere on property and heading to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom, you’ll likely feel little impact. Just give yourself extra time if your route usually passes EPCOT.
Half Marathon Road Closures: Sunday, October 25
Sunday’s closures are more widespread, covering Buena Vista Drive, multiple World Drive ramps, and Osceola Parkway connections. Most clear between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
- Backstage Lane North at Red Lot Entrance: 3:00 am – 8:00 am
- Epcot Parking Exit Loops to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:00 am – 7:00 am
- Overpass Road West at Bonnet Creek: 3:00 am – 10:30 am
- Woodpecker Lane (Yellow Lot): 3:00 am – 10:30 am
- Crush Lot Exit Bridge to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:30 am – 10:00 am (modified)
- Epcot Center Drive West Ramp to World Drive South: 3:45 am – 9:30 am
- Floridian Way South at Bear Island Road Exit Ramp: 3:45 am – 9:30 am
- Vista Boulevard Ramp to World Drive South: 3:45 am – 9:30 am
- World Drive South Ramp to Epcot Center Drive East: 3:45 am – 10:00 am
- World Drive South Flyover Ramp: 3:45 am – 9:30 am
- World Drive South to Osceola Parkway: 3:45 am – 9:30 am
- Buena Vista Drive East [Osceola Parkway to Cypress Drive]: 4:00 am – 9:30 am
- Buena Vista Drive West Ramp to World Drive South: 4:00 am – 9:30 am
- Osceola Parkway West Ramp to Buena Vista Drive East: 4:00 am – 9:30 am
- World Drive North Ramp to Buena Vista Drive: 4:00 am – 9:00 am
- Epcot Center Drive West [Vacation Club Way to World Drive]: 4:30 am – 9:00 am
Because Buena Vista Drive and Osceola Parkway connections are part of Sunday’s closures, Disney Springs and the resorts along Buena Vista Drive are the areas most likely to see delays.
How to Plan Around the Closures
The simplest advice: if you’re not running, avoid driving near EPCOT on both mornings until at least 9:30 am. Sunday closures run a little longer in some areas, so factor that in if you’re heading to a park that morning.
A few other tips:
- Take Disney transportation if you can. Buses, the Skyliner, the monorail, and boats can be easier than navigating closed ramps, though buses may still see some delays.
- Pick a park away from EPCOT. If you’re planning an early morning, Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom may be the easier choice on race days.
- Plan a later EPCOT start. Arriving at EPCOT later in the morning avoids the worst of the closures.
- Leave extra time for airport trips. If you’re flying out Sunday morning, build in a buffer in case your route is affected.
- Use a navigation app, but trust the signs. Apps don’t always reflect race-day closures in real time, so follow posted detours.

The Bottom Line
Wine & Dine road closures will affect Walt Disney World on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25. Saturday’s 10K closures mostly clear by 9:00 am, while Sunday’s Half Marathon closures are wider, hitting Buena Vista Drive, World Drive ramps, and Osceola Parkway connections, and mostly clearing between 9:00 am and 10:30 am. If you’re not running, stay away from the EPCOT area until at least 9:30 am on both days, and give yourself extra time wherever you’re headed.
