runDisney has not shared the full item list yet, but based on past Princess Weekends and this first look, here is what runners should expect.

How to Buy the Merchandise

If you have never shopped runDisney merch before, this part matters.

Buying Princess Weekend merchandise is not a normal retail experience.

You cannot just walk in, browse, and take your time.

There is a system.
There is a queue.
And timing makes a real difference.

All official runDisney 2026 Princess Half Marathon merchandise will be sold at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.

There is no full online shop for race weekend merch. Some leftover items may appear online later, but the best selection happens in person.

How Entry Works

runDisney uses a Virtual Queue for merchandise shopping.

You do not walk in and shop. You join the queue. You wait for your group. Then you enter.

Each guest gets one shopping window. Once you exit, you cannot re-enter the merch area.

Pre-purchased merchandise is picked up separately. It does not include access to the general merch floor.

Will This Merchandise Sell Out?

I get this question every year.

“Will the Princess merch sell out, or can I just shop later?”

I wish the answer were better.

Short answer: yes.

Princess Weekend is one of the most popular runDisney events. The merchandise sells fast every year.

Here is what usually sells out first:

• Spirit jerseys
• Half Marathon finisher gear
• Princess-themed ears
• Jackets and hoodies
• Limited-run pins

Thursday is the best day to shop. Saturday is the worst day to shop.

Restocks are rare. When an item sells out, it often stays sold out. If you care about a specific item or size, plan to shop early.

Virtual Queue Tips for runDisney Merchandise

The Virtual Queue is the part that stresses people out.

It feels confusing the first time.
It feels unfair when you get a late group.
And it feels awful when you miss an item you wanted.

Here is how it usually works and what actually helps.

When the Queue Opens

• The Virtual Queue usually opens around 8:00 AM EST
• The exact time appears in the official Digital Expo & Event Guide
• Groups often start being called around 10:00 AM EST

How to Join

• Use the My Disney Experience app
• Use a web browser link from the guide
• Join from your hotel or on the way to the Expo

Tips That Actually Help

• Use one device
• Use cell data instead of Expo Wi-Fi
• Screenshot your group number
• Watch the estimated call time
• Arrive early once your group moves
• Do not miss your window

If you miss your call window, you usually lose your spot.

Before You Arrive: Know Your Expo Info

All participants must visit the Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib, participant shirt, and any pre-purchased merchandise.

My Thoughts

Princess Weekend merch always feels more emotional to me than other runDisney weekends. The themes are soft, bright, and proud all at once. The designs feel like souvenirs, not just workout shirts.

In my experience, the early bird gets the worm.

For the runDisney merchandise, you will need to join the Virtual Queue. It usually opens at 8:00 AM EST. The exact time will be in the official Digital Expo & Event Guide. The system assigns you a group number. It shows progress and an estimated call time. Groups usually start being called at 10:00 AM EST.

I plan my entire Expo morning around that queue. I do not gamble on Friday or Saturday.

If there is one thing I have learned from Princess Weekend, it is this:

If you love a piece of merch, shop early.
If you wait, you will probably miss it.
