If you’re staying at Disney’s Polynesian Island Tower and love a quick breakfast before rope drop, this is good news. Wailulu Bar & Grill mobile order is coming to breakfast.
The option has started showing up in the My Disney Experience app, but it isn’t live yet. When mobile order appears in the app before it’s switched on, a launch is usually close. No official date has been announced.
Wailulu Bar & Grill already offers mobile ordering for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is the last meal period to get it. Once it goes live, you’ll be able to order from your room and grab your food on the way to the monorail or the boat.
Here’s what we know, how breakfast at Wailulu works today, and how mobile order will fit into your morning.

What Is Wailulu Bar & Grill?
Wailulu Bar & Grill is a quick-service spot at Disney’s Polynesian Island Tower, serving Polynesian-inspired food. It’s an easy, casual option compared to the resort’s sit-down restaurants, and it’s handy for Disney Vacation Club members and resort guests who want a fast meal without heading to Captain Cook’s.
Disney classifies it as quick service, and its breakfast is priced at $14.99 and under per adult.
Breakfast at Wailulu Bar & Grill Today
Right now, breakfast at Wailulu is grab-and-go only, running from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
That’s perfect for an early park morning. But on busy days, even grab-and-go lines can slow you down, especially when you’re trying to make an early bus, boat, or monorail.
How Breakfast Mobile Order Will Work
Once mobile order goes live for breakfast, it should work like other Disney mobile orders:
- Open the My Disney Experience app.
- Find Wailulu Bar & Grill.
- Pick an arrival window.
- Place and pay for your order.
- Tap “I’m Here” when you arrive and pick up your food.
No more waiting at the counter. You can order while you’re still getting the kids dressed and grab breakfast on your way out the door.
My tip: Order before you leave your room, and choose a window a few minutes before you need to head to transportation. That gives the kitchen time to finish your order.
Lunch and Dinner Already Have Mobile Order
Wailulu Bar & Grill already offers lunch and dinner through mobile order via Table Service to Go. Breakfast is the final piece. Once it launches, you’ll be able to use mobile order for every meal period at Wailulu.
That’s a nice upgrade for guests who stay at the Polynesian and want consistent, easy options throughout the day.
Why This Matters for Polynesian Guests
The Polynesian is one of the most convenient Disney resorts for Magic Kingdom, with access to the monorail and the boat. Early mornings are where every minute counts. If you’re trying to make Early Theme Park Entry, skipping a breakfast line can be the difference between catching the first monorail or the next one.
Mobile order also helps families with young kids. Instead of standing in line with a cranky toddler, one parent can grab the order while everyone else gets ready.
When Will It Launch?
Disney hasn’t announced a date. The fact that breakfast mobile order is already visible in the app is a good sign. Historically, that usually means a launch isn’t far off.
If you’re staying at the Polynesian soon, check the My Disney Experience app the night before your first park day. If breakfast ordering is open, you’ll see it there.
Other Breakfast Tips at the Polynesian
- Plan a sit-down breakfast once. If you want a character experience or a slower morning, book a table-service breakfast at the resort for one day of your trip. Kona Cafe is known for their Tonga Toast, a can’t miss breakfast treat!
- Keep snacks in your room. For very early mornings, a few snacks can tide you over until breakfast starts at 7:00 am.
The Bottom Line
Wailulu Bar & Grill mobile order is coming to breakfast at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. It’s already showing in My Disney Experience, but there’s no launch date yet. Breakfast is currently grab-and-go from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, with meals at $14.99 and under, and lunch and dinner already support mobile ordering. Check the app the night before your park day, and keep checking DisMornings for the official launch.
