The 8pm Trap
Market Street Welcome on Main Street is only available until 8pm — one hour after the party officially begins at 7pm.
All other locations run for the duration of the party until midnight.
This is the detail that catches people out every year. Guests who enter at 4pm, ride attractions, eat dinner, and then start trick-or-treating at 8:30pm find Main Street already closed.
If you want all 13 stops, start at Market Street Welcome. It’s the first thing you should do after the party begins at 7pm, and it takes two minutes.
Allergy-Friendly Trick-or-Treating
Guests with food allergies can request a teal-colored treat bag from a Cast Member at one of the dedicated Allergy Request Treat Centers.
Once you have your teal bag, you can use it at Allergy Request Centers throughout the event to collect allergy-friendly candy.
Allergy Request Centers, sponsored by YumEarth, are located at:
- Liberty Square Ticket Office
- Merchant of Venus
Both are open from 7pm to midnight.
The teal bag system is genuinely well designed. Rather than requiring a conversation at every stop, the bag itself signals the need, and the two centers handle the actual allergy-friendly distribution.
Get your teal bag first if you need one. Liberty Square Ticket Office is centrally located and easy to reach right after park entry.
2026 Candy Sponsors
Candy at this year’s party is provided by three sponsors:
- Mars Wrigley
- Werther’s Original
- YumEarth
Mars Wrigley candy — including M&Ms, Snickers, and Starburst — has been a party staple for several years. Werther’s Original and YumEarth round out the selection, with YumEarth also covering the allergy-friendly options.
Planning Your Trick-or-Treat Route
With 13 locations spread across the park, a full run takes planning — especially on busier party nights.
The essentials:
- Start at Market Street Welcome before 8pm, as it closes early
- The three Adventureland stops — Sunshine Tree Terrace, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Tortuga Tavern — are close together and easy to hit in one loop
- Fantasyland has the highest concentration with five locations, making it the most candy-dense area of the park
- Pick up your teal bag at Liberty Square Ticket Office or Merchant of Venus from 7pm if you have allergy needs
A Suggested Route
Working from the front of the park backward, here’s an efficient order:
1. Market Street Welcome (Main Street) — do this first, before 8pm
2. Adventureland loop — Sunshine Tree Terrace, Enchanted Tiki Room, Tortuga Tavern
3. Frontierland — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
4. Liberty Square — The Diamond Horseshoe
5. Fantasyland cluster — PhilharMagic, Princess Fairytale Hall, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Dumbo, Storybook Circus railroad station
6. Tomorrowland — Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
That route runs a clean circle without backtracking, and it puts the densest area — Fantasyland — in the middle of your night when you’ve built momentum.
Better still: run this during the parade or fireworks. The 8:15pm parade and 10pm fireworks pull enormous crowds to the hub and parade route. Candy lines shrink noticeably during both.
Rain Doesn’t Stop It
Worth knowing given Florida’s August weather: Trick-or-Treat Trails remain available even during inclement weather, per Disney’s published party weather policy.
Several stops are also indoors — PhilharMagic, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and the Enchanted Tiki Room among them — which makes a storm route entirely viable.
The Bottom Line
MNSSHP 2026 trick-or-treat locations number 13 across Magic Kingdom, with complimentary treat bags for all guests and allergy-friendly teal bags available at Liberty Square Ticket Office and Merchant of Venus.
Market Street Welcome closes at 8pm; everything else runs until midnight. Fantasyland is the densest area with five stops.
Start on Main Street the moment the party begins, loop Adventureland, and save your heaviest collecting for during the parade and fireworks.
