The party runs on 38 select nights — not every night Magic Kingdom is open. Here’s the full calendar:
August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31
In August, party nights fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The October 31 Halloween night date is back — and if 2025 is any indication, it will sell out within hours of general tickets going on sale.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Tickets: When and How to Buy
Tickets go on sale in two waves:
- May 5 — Resort guests staying at select Walt Disney World hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green
- May 12 — All other guests
In 2025, every single night sold out. October 31 sold out on the first day of general sales. If you want October dates — especially Halloween night — treat May 12 like an event you need to be ready for. Set your alarm, have your payment info ready, and don’t wait.

Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members save $10 per ticket on party nights from August 7 through October 2, 2026.
Getting Into the Party
Party ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00pm, even though the official party doesn’t begin until 7:00pm. That gives you up to eight hours in the park across the full party night — plenty of time to knock out rides, grab exclusive food, meet characters, and catch the entertainment multiple times.
Use those early hours strategically. The park is still technically open to day guests until 7pm, so the best approach is to ride the major attractions between 4–7pm while crowds are lower, then pivot to parade and show viewing once the party officially begins.
What’s New at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026
Stitch’s New Dance Party
The biggest new addition for 2026 is a brand-new dance party hosted by Stitch at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, joined by Lilo and Angel. The twist: Stitch gets his hands on Lilo’s Costume Trunk, and every accessory he tries on triggers a full theme change for the show — keeping the experience different throughout the night.
This is exactly the kind of character-forward, interactive entertainment that works well at MNSSHP. Stitch is one of the most popular Disney characters for this demographic, and the Costume Trunk mechanic should keep repeat visits feeling fresh.
Returning Fan Favorites
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
The iconic parade is back, running at 8:15pm. Expect Mickey, Minnie, the waltzing Haunted Mansion ghosts, Disney Princesses, and Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph among the characters marching through Magic Kingdom. The Headless Horseman still opens the parade on select nights — one of the most dramatic moments in all of Walt Disney World’s entertainment lineup.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
The Sanderson Sisters return to the Castle Forecourt Stage, joined by a rotating lineup of Disney Villains including Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and The Evil Queen. This remains one of the best pieces of live entertainment at Walt Disney World — period. If you’re attending the party, catching this show at least once is non-negotiable.
Exclusive Food and Dining
Party-exclusive food and drinks are scattered across Magic Kingdom on event nights. Items confirmed so far include:
- Minnie Witch Hat at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café
- Bowl of Bones at The Friar’s Nook
- Buzzard Wings at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café
More menu items will be announced closer to the season. Two table-service restaurants offer party-exclusive dining experiences starting at 4pm on event nights for party guests only: Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table. Book these as soon as your dining window opens — they fill up well in advance on party nights.
Tips for Planning Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026
Buy early — especially for October. The entire 2025 season sold out. October 31 went on day one. Mark May 12 on your calendar and be ready at opening time.
August is the best value. Early August dates are cheaper, less crowded, and you still get the full experience. If you’re flexible on timing, an August party night is the smart play — you get everything MNSSHP offers at a fraction of the October chaos and cost.
Arrive at 4pm. Those three hours before the official 7pm party start are golden. Use them to knock out Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain before the dedicated party crowd arrives.
Catch Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular early. The first showing of the night typically has the thinnest crowd at the Castle stage. Stake out your spot 20 minutes before showtime for a great view.
Use the AP/DVC discount. Annual Passholders and DVC Members save $10 per ticket on nights through October 2. On a multi-person booking, that adds up.
