Outgoing Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared the news on LinkedIn. He wrote:

Her impact can be seen in the countless leaders she mentored and in the culture of development she helped build.”

He added: “Congratulations, Maribeth, on this well-deserved recognition. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of Disney leaders.”

Vahle himself stepped down as Walt Disney World president days later, with Joe Schott taking over on August 6, 2026.

Her Career at Disney

Bisienere started as General Manager of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in 1995. From there, her roles included:

• Vice President, Alliance Development & Operating Participants (2003-2007)
• Vice President, Business Development (2007-2010)

In her most recent role, she oversaw resorts, transportation, premium services, food and beverage, and merchandise across Walt Disney World.

Look at the 2014-2020 line. Senior Vice President over Disney Springs during exactly the period Downtown Disney became Disney Springs.

The convention is that each window presents the honoree as a fictional business proprietor or professional, with the “business” reflecting their actual contribution. A talent development executive gets an “Academy of Talent Education & Training.” An engineer might get a machine works. A landscape architect might get a nursery.

The windows are the closing credits of the park. Walt Disney’s own window sits above the Plaza Restaurant, and the tradition of honoring the people who built and ran the place has continued since opening day.

How to Find It

Next time you are at Magic Kingdom, look up when you pass the Casting Agency door on the Emporium. You’ll find Bisienere’s window on the second story.

A few tips for window-spotting on Main Street generally:

• Walk the street slowly in both directions. The windows on the way in and the way out read differently in morning versus evening light.
• Both sides have windows. Most guests only look at one side.
