La Poutinerie Opens at EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion With New Menu

La Poutinerie Opens

La Poutinerie EPCOT is officially open, and it landed on the best possible day. Air Canada’s new quick-service spot took over the old Refreshment Port location in the Canada Pavilion on July 1, 2026 — Canada Day itself. If you have walked past that corner of World Showcase and wondered what was going on behind the construction walls, you now have your answer: a full poutine menu, Canadian beer and wine, and a completely rebuilt facade that actually looks like it belongs in Canada.

I have eaten my way through World Showcase more times than I can count, and a dedicated poutine counter has been a long time coming. This guide covers everything you need to know about La Poutinerie EPCOT before your next trip — the menu, the prices, the hours, and what changed since the Refreshment Port days.

Quick Summary

  • La Poutinerie EPCOT opened July 1, 2026, replacing Refreshment Port in the Canada Pavilion
  • Two poutine options: L’Authentique ($10.99) and Viande Fumee ($12.49)
  • New exterior features stone columns, a standing-seam metal roof, and a loon sculpture out front
  • Alcoholic options include a Spiced Apple Mule, Unibroue tripel ale, Molson Canadian, and Canadian wines
  • Open daily 11am to 9pm, cashless payment only, Disney Dining Plans accepted, no mobile order
  • Location is sponsored by Air Canada, the Official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World Resort

What Replaced Refreshment Port

Refreshment Port closed on January 12, 2026, after years of serving a fairly basic snack menu next to the Canada Pavilion. La Poutinerie EPCOT takes that same footprint between Canada and World Showcase and turns it into something with an actual identity. Instead of a generic quick-service window, you get a themed location built around one dish done well: poutine.

This fits a pattern Disney has leaned into across World Showcase over the past few years — take an underperforming or generic snack spot and replace it with something more specific and more Instagram-worthy. La Poutinerie EPCOT is exactly that kind of upgrade.

The New Exterior Design

The building itself got a full makeover. Stone columns anchor the structure, topped with a metal standing-seam roof that echoes the lodge-style architecture you see elsewhere in the Canada Pavilion. Above each sign panel, you will spot a gold propeller and wings motif — a nod to Air Canada’s aviation branding woven into the theming.

Out front, a sculpted centerpiece steals the show: loon birds in flight, arranged around a driftwood structure, set against a maple tree dressed in fall-colored orange and red foliage. Flowers, shrubs, and decorative rocks fill out the landscaping. It gives the whole corner a distinctly Canadian outdoor feel that the old Refreshment Port never had.

The menu board carries the tagline “Ready for Taste Off,” a play on both the poutine name and Air Canada’s aviation identity. It is a small detail, but it tells you Disney put real thought into this rebrand instead of just slapping a new sign on the same building.

The Poutine Menu at La Poutinerie EPCOT

Poutine is the whole point here, and the menu keeps it simple with two versions:

Quebec: L’Authentique – $10.99

French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy. This is the classic, no-frills version — the one to order if you have never had poutine and want the reference point everything else gets compared to.

Montreal: Viande Fumee – $12.49

French fries, cheese curds, smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy. This is the upgrade pick. The smoked meat and mustard gravy add a tang that the classic version does not have, and if you are only trying one poutine on this trip, I would lean toward this one.

Beverages and Alcoholic Drinks

Non-alcoholic options include a Spiced Apple Slushy ($6.29) — frozen ginger beer blended with lime and spiced apple — plus assorted Coca-Cola fountain drinks ($4.79), DASANI bottled water ($4.25), and smartwater ($6.25).

On the alcohol side, the Spiced Apple Mule ($14.50) takes that same ginger beer and lime base and adds Iceberg Canadian Vodka. Beer drinkers can grab a Unibroue La Fin du Monde Belgian-style Tripel Ale ($14.00) or a Molson Canadian Lager ($10.75). Wine options include a Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut from Columbia Valley ($7.50) and a Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend ($12.00).

Hours, Payment, and Dining Plans

La Poutinerie EPCOT is open daily from 11am to 9pm. It is a cashless location, so bring a credit card, Disney Gift Card, or mobile payment method — prices listed do not include sales tax. Disney Dining Plans are accepted here, which makes it an easy snack or quick-service credit stop if you are working through a plan during your EPCOT day. One thing to note: mobile order is not available at this location, so you will need to walk up and order in person.

About Air Canada’s Sponsorship

La Poutinerie EPCOT is part of Air Canada’s broader sponsorship as the Official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World Resort. That partnership extends beyond the food counter — Air Canada also offers Aeroplan members VIP viewing access for Luminous The Symphony of Us from a private standing area at the China Overlook in World Showcase. Weekly dates run through January 9, 2027, and access is redeemable for 1,000 Aeroplan points per redemption.

Final Thoughts

La Poutinerie EPCOT is a clear step up from what used to sit in this spot. The theming is sharper, the menu has an identity, and the Canadian beer and wine list gives adults a real reason to stop. Add this to your World Showcase plan next time you are circling the pavilions — grab a poutine, grab a Molson, and enjoy one of the more underrated additions to EPCOT’s dining lineup this year.
