If you are a Ghirardelli regular at Disney Springs, the good news is the shop is not disappearing — it is just moving temporarily. The former CrazyShake by Black Tap space in Town Center gives Ghirardelli a Disney Springs address while the original location near World of Disney undergoes construction.

Ghirardelli has been a Disney Springs staple for years, offering chocolate treats, sundaes, and its signature hot fudge sundae alongside a retail chocolate shop. The full menu and chocolate offerings are expected to continue at the temporary Town Center location during the remodel period.

The Remodel

No specific dates have been confirmed for either the original location closure or the opening of the temporary Town Center spot. What changes the remodel will bring to the original Ghirardelli space also has not been announced. Disney Springs has been actively refreshing its dining and retail offerings across multiple areas, so it is reasonable to expect the remodeled Ghirardelli to look meaningfully different when it returns in Spring 2027.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions.  On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over.  He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going.
