Hey Disney Vacationers! Let’s be real—if you’ve done a runDisney event before, you already know the medals are a huge part of the hype. And if you haven’t? You’re about to see why these medals turn casual runners into medal-chasing machines. runDisney just dropped the first look at the 2025 runDisney Virtual Series medals, and they are packed with surprises, interactivity, and Disney magic. If you’re into Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder, or that “Happily Ever After” feeling—yeah, they got you covered.
Let’s break it down.

What Is the 2025 runDisney Virtual Series?
The 2025 runDisney Virtual Series is a summer race series you do anywhere—your neighborhood, treadmill, local trail—at your own pace.
There are three individual 5K races, and if you complete all three, you earn a bonus challenge medal. It’s $58 per race, and registration opens April 1st.
These aren’t basic medals. They do things. They spin, light up, and even have liquid that moves. Yeah—this year’s medals are interactive, and they look awesome.
