Disneyland made the announcement on social media on July 25, 2024 sparking joy and anticipation among fans. The attraction, which closed on January 22, 2024, will reopen as the “holiday” Nightmare Before Christmas version, bringing a spooky yet festive twist to the beloved ride. To manage the high demand and ongoing construction in the area, the Haunted Mansion Holiday will implement a virtual queue system. This means that guests will need to use the Disneyland app to request access to the attraction, as a standby queue will not be available at this time.

1. Preparation: Ensure your MyDisney account is linked to your group’s park tickets. Each guest can only request to join the virtual queue once per day during regular park hours. A theme park reservation will also be required.
2. Daily Opportunities to Join the Virtual Queue:
   • 12:00 PM (Noon): Guests inside Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket or inside Disneyland Park can request to join the virtual queue.
   • 7:00 AM: Guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a one-park ticket or a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket to request to join the virtual queue.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip.
