Disney Springs Food Trucks Expected to Close

The Disney Springs food trucks are closing for good. The three trucks currently operating at Exposition Park on the West Side of Disney Springs — Urban Eatery Cilantro, GoJuice, and 4Rivers Cantina — are expected to leave in mid-June 2026. Disney has not made an official announcement, but the area is expected to be reconfigured for additional seating once the trucks are gone.

Quick Summary

  • The Disney Springs food trucks at Exposition Park on the West Side are closing permanently in mid-June 2026
  • Three trucks currently operating: Urban Eatery Cilantro, GoJuice, and 4Rivers Cantina
  • Disney has not made an official announcement — this comes from sources
  • The vacated area is expected to gain additional seating
  • Disney Springs food trucks have been part of the dining lineup since 2013
  • Disney originally operated the trucks with park-inspired menus, later transitioning to third-party vendors

Which Trucks Are Closing

The three vendors currently at Exposition Park are Urban Eatery Cilantro (Mexican-inspired), GoJuice (fresh juice and smoothies), and 4Rivers Cantina (BBQ from the 4 Rivers Smokehouse brand). All three are expected to depart in mid-June 2026. The trucks have occupied the Exposition Park space on the West Side of Disney Springs, near the House of Blues and Splitsville areas.

A Brief History of Disney Springs Food Trucks

The food trucks launched at Disney Springs — then still called Downtown Disney — in 2013. The original concept was Disney-operated, with menus inspired by parks around the world: Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hong Kong Disneyland, and others. It was a genuinely interesting dining option that connected the trucks to Disney’s global park portfolio.

Over time, Disney stepped back from running the trucks directly and transitioned to third-party vendor agreements. The current lineup of Urban Eatery Cilantro, GoJuice, and 4Rivers Cantina reflects that shift to independently operated concepts. None of the current trucks carry the original Disney-themed park-inspired menus that made the trucks a distinctive experience at launch.

What Comes Next for Exposition Park

When the trucks depart, the Exposition Park footprint will be repurposed. Sources indicate the area is expected to gain additional seating — which makes sense given how limited outdoor dining seating has been on the West Side compared to the busier Town Center and Marketplace districts.

Disney Springs has been through a significant amount of change in recent years, with various dining and retail concepts opening and closing as the district continues to evolve. The departure of the food trucks removes one of the last remnants of the original 2013 dining concept that launched the truck program. Whether any food-and-beverage element eventually fills part of the reconfigured space remains to be seen. Stay tuned to DisMornings for updates as mid-June approaches and Disney potentially makes an official announcement.
