Disney Lorcana Virtual Queue at Disney Springs: Oct. 16 Guide

Reading Time: 4 minutes
Disney Lorcana virtual queue at World of Disney, Disney Springs

If you play Disney Lorcana or collect it, set your alarm. A new Lorcana merchandise release is coming to World of Disney at Disney Springs on Friday, October 16, 2026, and you’ll need a virtual queue to get in.

The Disney Lorcana virtual queue opens at 6:00 am through the My Disney Experience app. There’s no standby line, so the virtual queue is your only shot. You also need to be within about 45 miles of Disney Springs to join.

This one comes with strict rules: one try per person, no group passes, and a two-item limit. Here’s everything you need to know to give yourself the best chance.

Quick Summary

  • When: Friday, October 16, 2026.
  • Where: World of Disney at Disney Springs.
  • Virtual queue opens: 6:00 am in the My Disney Experience app.
  • Location rule: You must be within about 45 miles of Disney Springs to join.
  • No standby line: The virtual queue is the only way in.
  • Purchase limit: Up to 2 units of the featured Lorcana item per guest, while supplies last.
  • Return window: 60 minutes once your boarding group is called.

How to Join the Disney Lorcana Virtual Queue

You’ll need the My Disney Experience app. At 6:00 am on October 16, the virtual queue opens. That’s the only time to grab a boarding pass. There’s no second drop later in the day.

To join, you must be within approximately 45 miles of Disney Springs. That means you’ll need location services turned on for the app, and you’ll need to actually be in the area.

The rules

  • One request per person. You can only request a boarding pass once.
  • No groups. Each guest joins on their own boarding pass. You can’t add friends or family to yours.
  • No linking or sharing. Boarding passes can’t be linked or transferred.
  • Registered guests only. Only the person on the boarding pass can make purchases.

That last rule matters. If you’re hoping to buy for a friend, they’ll need to join the virtual queue themselves.

Once Your Boarding Group Is Called

When your group is called, you’ll have 60 minutes to get to World of Disney. Late arrivals may not be accommodated, so don’t wander too far.

Getting a boarding pass doesn’t guarantee you’ll be able to buy anything. Capacity is limited, and the merchandise is available only while supplies last.

Purchase Limits

Each guest can buy up to 2 units of the featured Disney Lorcana item. WDWMAGIC hasn’t named the specific product, so check the official Disney Springs and Disney Lorcana channels for details before you go.

Tips to Win the Virtual Queue

Virtual queues can fill in seconds. Here’s how to give yourself the best odds:

  • Update the app the night before. A last-minute update at 5:59 am is a disaster.
  • Log in early. Open My Disney Experience around 5:50 am and make sure you’re signed in.
  • Turn on location services. The 45-mile rule means the app needs to know where you are.
  • Sync your clock. Use your phone’s automatic time setting, and tap right at 6:00:00.
  • Use strong Wi-Fi or cell signal. A weak connection can cost you precious seconds.
  • Have a plan for your 60 minutes. Know how long it’ll take to get to Disney Springs from where you’re staying.

What If You Don’t Get a Boarding Pass?

Virtual queues for limited merchandise fill fast, and plenty of people walk away empty-handed. If that happens, you still have options:

  • Check your local game store. Disney Lorcana is sold at hobby and game shops, not just at Disney.
  • Watch official channels. Disney and Ravensburger sometimes announce additional releases or restocks.
  • Be careful with resellers. Limited items often show up online at inflated prices right after a release. If you can wait, prices usually settle down.

Don’t let a missed boarding pass ruin your day at Disney Springs. There’s plenty more to shop, eat, and explore.

What Is Disney Lorcana?

Disney Lorcana is a trading card game created by Disney and Ravensburger. It launched in 2023 and features Disney characters reimagined as magical “glimmers” across beautiful, collectible cards.

It’s become hugely popular with both players and collectors, which is why a virtual queue makes sense for a release like this.

Planning Your Disney Springs Visit

You don’t need a theme park ticket to visit Disney Springs, and parking in the Disney Springs garages is free. World of Disney is in the Marketplace area.

If you get a boarding group, use your wait to grab breakfast nearby or browse other shops. Just keep an eye on the app so you don’t miss your 60-minute window.

The Bottom Line

The Disney Lorcana virtual queue for World of Disney at Disney Springs opens at 6:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2026, in the My Disney Experience app. You must be within about 45 miles of Disney Springs, each guest gets one try, and there’s no standby line. Once your group is called, you have 60 minutes to return, and you can buy up to 2 of the featured item while supplies last. Set your alarm, update the app tonight, and keep checking DisMornings for more Disney Springs news.

I’m no stranger to Disney planning, as a Disneyland magic key holder and DVC member. I’m the person people ask for trip planning advice. But I had never been on a Disney cruise, and had heard great about Nate and decided to reach out. I’m so glad I did because we could not have been happier with our experience. His tips and insights were incredibly helpful, and he was incredibly responsive any time we had a question. Who do the Disney experts turn to when they need help? Nate, that’s who. We’ll definitely be using him again.

Our experience working with Nate as our Disney vacation planner was exceptional. He was responsive and thorough. He gave us insights that made the trip go much more smoothly. We were able to really relax and focus on quality time as a family and have so much fun doing it! I will definitely reach out for any future trips.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions. On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over. He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. He also helped us at the 11th hour when we added a family member to our travel group less than a month before our trip. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Nate when I'm ready to plan my next trip to Disney World!

We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going. There was a lot to consider and many decisions to make, such as where to stay, when to go, and what to experience. Nate really helped us narrow down what we wanted to do overall, but he didn’t stop there. He provided detailed guides to help us navigate the airport and find our transportation to the resort, as well as a guide to explore the resorts and make sure we saw the best Christmas decorations. One of the many amazing things he also did was set up our dinner reservations for us. This saved us so much stress and allowed us to get some of our top choices. From the moment we landed in Orlando to the moment we headed back home, he made sure everything went smoothly. You truly can’t go wrong with going to him for your next trip.

Nathan has been an amazing trip planner for me! So helpful and responsive. I am a very type A person -- so someone who is even more on top of their game than me -- is so so appreciated! Nathan has booked 3 trips for me (1 completed 2 pending) and it was perfection. Thanks again!

Nate has helped us with our vacation planning for the last couple of years and we couldn't be happier with his service and expertise. We've used other travel agents in the past and none of them have done as phenomenal a job to make sure every detail is taken care of as he has. Switching to Nate was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's always quick to answer questions and works tirelessly to make sure we get everything we want from our trips. Plus, he's just a genuinely great person who is wonderful to work with. Whether you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or any other vacation, Nate is the guy you want putting it all together! Five stars across the board!
