• Surf & Turf Roll — Wagyu beef, soft-shell crab, yuzu-avocado purée, soy gel
• Dungeness Crab Salad — gem lettuces, seasonal fruit, rye crisp, shaved fennel, tarragon, Meyer lemon vinaigrette, mustard aïoli
• Spicy Kazan Roll — blue crab, ebi shrimp, bay scallops, fireball sauce

The Surf & Turf Roll and Spicy Kazan Roll are the strongest picks here if you want something California Grill does that you can’t replicate easily elsewhere. The Dungeness Crab Salad is the lighter choice if you’re saving room for a heavier main.

Seven main options, with one premium surcharge item:

• Wagyu Strip Loin — corn, beef tallow-herb fingerling potatoes, grilled green garlic, salsa macha (+$47 surcharge)

• Grilled Pork Tenderloin — creamy goat cheese polenta, roasted pork belly, aged balsamic organic mushrooms, zinfandel glaze

You can also add enhancements to any main: tiger prawns with tomato butter and mandarin vinaigrette ($22), vanilla bean butter-poached lobster tail with tarragon and fines herb ($28), or scallops with creamy seasonal risotto ($20).

The Cioppino is the standout for seafood lovers — black bass, clams, shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a single bowl is a serious value within the prix-fixe structure. The Domestic Lamb with gnudi is the most technically ambitious main on the menu. If you’re going to spend the $47 upcharge, the Wagyu Strip Loin needs to earn that cost — worth it if you want the full California Grill experience.

Sweet Creations (Desserts)

• Celebration of Citrus — Meyer lemon, olive oil-poppy seed cake, blood orange gel, yuzu curd
