Butterbeer Season officially returns to Universal Parks worldwide starting March 1, 2026, bringing limited-time treats, new merchandise, and exclusive items to Universal Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Beijing, and for the first time, Universal Studios Japan.

The classic Butterbeer drink is available in cold, frozen, hot, and non-dairy formats throughout the season at every participating Wizarding World location. But it’s the new limited-time items that make each year’s Butterbeer Season worth a special trip.

New for 2026: The Butterbeer Waffle

The signature new item for Butterbeer Season 2026 is the Butterbeer Waffle — and it sounds like a winner. This limited-time treat is available at Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando, as well as Three Broomsticks at Universal Studios Hollywood.

It’s a thick, fluffy waffle topped with Butterbeer syrup, whipped topping, strawberries, and a keg-themed Butterbeer butter. The syrup comes on the side, which means you control the sweetness level — a smart move that should make this one of the more balanced new Butterbeer food items in recent years.
