Bluey's Wild World Opening Date

Disney has officially announced the opening date for one of the most anticipated new experiences coming to Walt Disney World: Bluey’s Wild World at Animal Kingdom opens May 26, 2026 — Memorial Day weekend. If you’ve got little ones who are obsessed with Bluey (and honestly, who doesn’t), this is the news you’ve been waiting for.

Quick Summary

  • Bluey’s Wild World is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as a new dedicated land.
  • The area will immerse guests in the world of the hit animated series, with attractions, entertainment, and character meet-and-greets.
  • Bluey, Bingo, and other fan-favorite characters will be available to meet inside the land.
  • The land is designed to feel like you’ve stepped directly into the show’s world.
  • No opening date has been confirmed yet — stay tuned for updates from Disney.

The experience is landing at Conservation Station, deep in the heart of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. That means you’ll need to hop the Wildlife Express Train to get there — which also reopens May 26 after being closed since February 23 for renovations.

What Is Bluey’s Wild World at Animal Kingdom?

Bluey’s Wild World is an interactive character experience built around the beloved Australian animated series. Once you arrive at Conservation Station, you’ll be able to play games straight out of Bluey episodes and meet Bluey and Bingo themselves for photo opportunities. The experience is designed to feel like you’ve stepped into the show — which is exactly what every Bluey fan, young and old, is going to love.

Disney describes it as a chance to “play games and dance with Bluey and Bingo” in an interactive setting. Host actors — part of what Disney is calling the P.A.C.K. team (Playful Animal Crew for Kids) — lead guests through activities with an animal-themed twist that fits perfectly with the Conservation Station setting.

Jumping Junction: The New Outdoor Area

One of the most exciting additions is Jumping Junction, a brand-new outdoor area showcasing animals native to Australia. This is a genius fit — Bluey is an Australian show, and Animal Kingdom’s mission is all about wildlife conservation. Jumping Junction bridges that connection directly, giving the Bluey experience a layer of genuine educational purpose alongside the fun.

This space replaces the Affection Section petting zoo, which closed February 23 when Conservation Station shut down for renovation. The goats and donkeys that had called Animal Kingdom home since 1998 were relocated to other zoos and homes. It’s a bittersweet farewell to a classic, but Jumping Junction looks like a worthy successor.

What Changed at Conservation Station

The renovation was substantial. The central indoor area, including the longtime animation experience, was removed to create space for the new Bluey activities. The Affection Section petting zoo is gone. The entire space has been reimagined around this new experience.

The good news: not everything changed. The Veterinary Treatment Room, Nutrition Center, and Amphibian, Reptile and Invertebrate Windows all remain as part of the renovated Conservation Station. The soul of what made this area special — up-close animal encounters with real educational context — is still there.

How to Get to Bluey’s Wild World

Conservation Station is only accessible via the Wildlife Express Train from Rafiki’s Planet Watch station in Animal Kingdom. The train was also closed during the renovation period, but it reopens May 26 alongside Bluey’s Wild World. Budget at least an hour for the round trip — the train ride, the experience, and the character meet all take time. If you’re visiting on or around Memorial Day weekend, expect this area to be packed.

Bluey’s Wild World Animal Kingdom: Plan Your Visit

Opening day is May 26, 2026 — Memorial Day. If you can wait a week or two for the initial surge to settle, you’ll have a much smoother experience. But if the kids are Bluey-obsessed and patience isn’t an option, go early in the day, take the first Wildlife Express train of the morning, and make Conservation Station your first stop before the character lines build.

This is one of the most guest-friendly new additions Disney has announced in a while — the combination of a beloved IP, genuine wildlife education, Australian animal exhibits, and full character interaction makes it a slam dunk for families. We’ll have full opening day coverage at DisMornings on May 26. Stay tuned.
