The moment Disney Cruise Line shared new details about the Disney Destiny Grand Hall, I knew this wasn’t just a new space. It’s a full-blown Marvel experience at sea. And yes — it’s got Loki. It’s got Black Panther. And it’s got magic.

What Is the Disney Destiny Grand Hall?

The Grand Hall is the first space guests will step into when they board the Disney Destiny. It sets the tone for everything that follows. Disney says the space is inspired by Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, and you can absolutely feel that influence the second you see the reveal.

During the day, the Grand Hall gives you the feeling of a hero’s welcome — it’s bright, full of energy, and full of that “you made it!” excitement. But this is Disney, so nothing stays the same for long.

At any moment, the Grand Hall transforms. With 360-degree lighting effects, music, and character appearances, the room changes its entire mood.
