You’ll be stepping into a Mushroom Kingdom transformed into a holiday wonderland, complete with all your favorite characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad.

The entrance itself sets the tone: a Christmas tree crowned with a Super Star topper, a wreath, and two adorable snowmen—one rocking Mario’s iconic red hat and scarf, the other styled in Luigi’s green gear. And yes, they’re perfect for that must-have holiday photo op.

It wouldn’t be the holidays at Universal without Grinchmas. And this year, Universal Plaza is bringing all the Who-liday fun back to life. Step into Who-ville, where the décor is as whimsical and colorful as you’d imagine. This place is buzzing with entertainment, activities, and festive cheer.

Here’s the highlight: The legendary Who-inspired doo-wop singing quartet is back, bringing the sounds of the season with their toe-tapping renditions of Who-liday classics. Their performance is pure joy, and you’ll be swaying along with the Whos and guests alike.

But that’s not all. The 65-foot-tall Grinchmas tree, a signature element of the celebration, will once again stand proudly in Who-ville, decked out in vibrant ornaments and thousands of LED lights. And each night, you can gather around for the tree-lighting ceremony, complete with a magical burst of cascading snow. It’s the kind of holiday magic that’ll make you feel like you’re living in a Dr. Seuss story.

And of course, the Grinch himself will be on hand for photo ops, alongside his loyal dog, Max. Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions.
