Disney World Unveils New Country Bear Musical Jamboree Song List

Hey Disney Vacationers! As excitement builds for the grand reopening of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Magic Kingdom on July 17th, Walt Disney World has released a toe-tapping, heartwarming lineup of songs that will be featured in this revamped classic attraction. This new musical assortment promises a delightful blend of nostalgia and novelty, perfectly crafted to enchant both long-time fans and first-time visitors. Let’s look at the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree song list!

A Fresh Twist on Disney Classics

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree is set to dazzle with a fresh selection of songs performed in a style that nods affectionately to the Opry-style shows of Nashville. This show is not just about the bears; it’s a celebration of Americana—or should we say, A-“Bear”-icana? Fans can expect an eclectic mix of genres from bluegrass to pop-country and rockabilly, ensuring there’s something for every country music lover.

Here’s what’s new on the playbill:

• “Country Bear Musical Jamboree” – An original song penned exclusively for the attraction.
• “Try Everything” from Zootopia – A motivational anthem encouraging bravery and perseverance.
• “Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid – A romantic classic reimagined with a country twist.
• “A Whole New World” from Aladdin – A magical melody that takes on a new life with string instruments.
• “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins – A lively and whimsical tune.
• “Fixer-Upper” from Frozen – A heartfelt number about accepting loved ones, flaws and all.
• “Remember Me” from Coco – A touching tribute that tugs at the heartstrings.
• “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from Toy Story – A testament to friendship and loyalty.
• “Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book – A carefree rhythm that celebrates simple joys.
• “Come Again” – A nostalgic nod that debuted with the original Country Bear Jamboree in 1974.

Star-Studded Performances

To breathe life into these melodies, Walt Disney Imagineering has enlisted a blend of popular and upcoming country music talents. Mac McAnally, a 10-time CMA Musician of the Year, lends his vocals to “Fixer-Upper” and “The Bare Necessities.” Country sensation Emily Ann Roberts voices Trixie, bringing a heartfelt rendition of “Try Everything.” Additionally, the talents of Allison Russel and Chris Thile animate Teddi Barra and Wendell, respectively, with their performance of “A Whole New World.”

Inspirational Words from the Artists

“I first saw the Country Bears as a teenager, and it bolstered my pride in the acoustic heritage of the rural south,” McAnally shared, reflecting on the profound impact the show has had on his life and career. “It’s my great blessing to continue this tradition, honoring the spirit of the Bears and the rich tapestry of Disney songs and country music.”

Roberts expressed her excitement, saying, “This is an opportunity I never even dreamed of. Being part of this beloved show is an honor, and I hope it encourages others to try new things, even if it means failing and trying again.”

More Than Just Music

The Country Bear Jamboree isn’t just about the songs; it’s a full sensory experience. The bears will don new costumes inspired by classic country singers, reminiscent of outfits you’d see at The Grand Ole Opry. As you immerse yourself in the show, keep an eye out for easter eggs and nods to Nashville scattered throughout the attraction, enriching the experience.

This July, whether you’re a die-hard Disney fan or a lover of all things country, the Country Bear Musical Jamboree at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is poised to offer an unforgettable musical journey. So, mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and prepare to be part of a musical tradition that promises to resonate across generations.

I’m no stranger to Disney planning, as a Disneyland magic key holder and DVC member. I’m the person people ask for trip planning advice. But I had never been on a Disney cruise, and had heard great about Nate and decided to reach out. I’m so glad I did because we could not have been happier with our experience. His tips and insights were incredibly helpful, and he was incredibly responsive any time we had a question. Who do the Disney experts turn to when they need help? Nate, that’s who.

We’ll definitely be using him again.

Could not have wanted or expected more from Nate, our Distrips and More agent as we planned our 2025 Disney World trip. Nate was VERY responsive to emails and texts and more than willing to do whatever he could to guide us and answer our questions. On several occasions I emailed him over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday but each time he responded before the weekend was over. He even participated in a Zoom session with our group of five seniors as we planned our trip. He also helped us at the 11th hour when we added a family member to our travel group less than a month before our trip. Without a doubt, I will reach out to Nate when I'm ready to plan my next trip to Disney World!

We are so thankful we used Nate to plan not only our first Disney trip, but also our second. He made the process so easy for us, especially for us since it was our first time going. There was a lot to consider and many decisions to make, such as where to stay, when to go, and what to experience. Nate really helped us narrow down what we wanted to do overall, but he didn’t stop there. He provided detailed guides to help us navigate the airport and find our transportation to the resort, as well as a guide to explore the resorts and make sure we saw the best Christmas decorations. One of the many amazing things he also did was set up our dinner reservations for us. This saved us so much stress and allowed us to get some of our top choices. From the moment we landed in Orlando to the moment we headed back home, he made sure everything went smoothly. You truly can’t go wrong with going to him for your next trip.

Nathan has been an amazing trip planner for me! So helpful and responsive. I am a very type A person -- so someone who is even more on top of their game than me -- is so so appreciated! Nathan has booked 3 trips for me (1 completed 2 pending) and it was perfection. Thanks again!

Nate has helped us with our vacation planning for the last couple of years and we couldn't be happier with his service and expertise. We've used other travel agents in the past and none of them have done as phenomenal a job to make sure every detail is taken care of as he has. Switching to Nate was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's always quick to answer questions and works tirelessly to make sure we get everything we want from our trips. Plus, he's just a genuinely great person who is wonderful to work with. Whether you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or any other vacation, Nate is the guy you want putting it all together! Five stars across the board!
