What Is Frozen Holiday Surprise?
Frozen Holiday Surprise brings Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf to Cinderella Castle. The show ends with Elsa using her powers to transform the castle into a glimmering palace of ice, covering it in the shimmering lights that make Magic Kingdom’s holiday season so recognizable.
It’s a short show, but the castle lighting moment is one of the most photographed of the year. If you have Frozen fans in your group, this is a must.
Fitting It Into Your Party Night
If you have a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket, the 8:15 pm Frozen Holiday Surprise lands just before the 8:30 pm Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You can watch the castle lighting from Main Street, U.S.A. and stay in place for the parade.
Here’s the full party entertainment schedule:
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration: 7:40 pm, 9:25 pm, 10:35 pm, 11:55 pm
- Frozen Holiday Surprise: 8:15 pm
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade: 8:30 pm, 11:00 pm
- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks: 10:00 pm
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights from November 8 to December 22, 2026.
A Sample Party Night Plan
Here’s one way to see everything without running back and forth:
- 7:40 pm: Catch the first Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration at the castle stage.
- 8:15 pm: Stay in the hub area for Frozen Holiday Surprise.
- 8:30 pm: Move to your Main Street, U.S.A. spot for the first parade.
- 9:25 pm: Snacks, rides, and character meets.
- 10:00 pm: Find a spot for Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.
- 11:00 pm: Catch the second parade if you missed the first, or use the time for shorter ride lines.
Not Going to the Party?
You don’t need a party ticket to see Frozen Holiday Surprise. The 6:15 pm show runs starting November 8, so regular park guests can catch it as the sun goes down. That’s a great option if you’re visiting with younger kids who won’t be up late, or if you want to see the castle transformation without a separate event ticket.
Where to Watch
The best views are from Main Street, U.S.A. and the hub in front of Cinderella Castle. A few tips:
- Arrive 20 to 30 minutes early for a good spot in the hub, especially on weekends and closer to Christmas.
- Stand back a little if you want the whole castle in your photos. Too close, and you’ll miss the top spires.
- Stay put for what’s next. On party nights, the parade follows right after, so a Main Street, U.S.A. spot works for both.
What’s New Since Our Party Guide
When Disney first posted the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party schedule, it listed Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, the parade, and the fireworks, but Frozen Holiday Surprise was still marked as “not yet released.” Now the full schedule is complete. The party-night 8:15 pm show slots neatly between the first castle stage show at 7:40 pm and the 8:30 pm parade, which makes the first hour of the party one of the easiest to plan.
Tips for Families With Little Ones
- Aim for the 6:15 pm show. It’s early enough for younger kids, and you’ll still catch the castle lighting at dusk.
- Grab dinner first. Eat around 5:00 pm, then head to the hub with time to spare.
- Bring a jacket. November and December evenings in Central Florida can get cool once the sun goes down.
- Plan your exit. After the 6:15 pm show, Main Street can get busy, so consider a ride or shop stop before heading out.

The Bottom Line
Frozen Holiday Surprise returns to Cinderella Castle on November 8, 2026, with a 6:15 pm show and an extra 8:15 pm performance on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights. On party nights, the 8:15 pm show sets you up perfectly for the 8:30 pm parade. Grab a spot in the hub early, and get ready to watch Elsa turn the castle to ice.
