If you’ve been waiting for real details on the next Disney Cruise Line ship, this is the good stuff. Disney just revealed the Disney Believe food and drinks lineup, and it goes well beyond the usual “new ship, new menu” announcement.
We’re talking an Inside Out sweet shop with character cupcakes and popsicles, plus three brand-new lounges themed to The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and stargazing. Each lounge gets its own signature cocktail, and two of them come with a non-alcoholic version too. One drink even changes color in the glass.
The Disney Believe is the fourth Wish-class ship, and it sets sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale in December 2027. That’s a long way off. But if you’re already thinking about a Believe sailing, this menu gives you a clear picture of what to look forward to onboard. Here’s everything Disney shared, item by item, plus what it means for planning.
Quick Summary
- Inside Out: Joyful Sweets is a sweet shop with 20+ flavors of gelato and ice cream and Inside Out 2 sculptures, including Anxiety and the Sense of Self.
- Character treats include cupcakes, popsicles, crisped rice treats, and chocolate spheres themed to Joy, Anger, Anxiety, Envy, and Embarrassment.
- Sea Notes is a Little Mermaid piano lounge serving the Sea Salt Martini.
- Wishing Well is a Snow White lounge serving The Peddler’s Disguise, a color-changing cocktail.
- Skygazers is an astronomer-themed pub serving Moonshine, with a zero-proof Starshine.
- Debut: The ship begins sailing from Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027, with 4- and 5-night Bahamas and Caribbean cruises.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets on the Disney Believe
The headline food venue is Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. It’s a sweet shop with more than 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, plus a full case of character treats. The room also features larger-than-life sculptures from Inside Out 2, including Anxiety and the Sense of Self. Expect this to be a photo stop as much as a snack stop.
Every treat ties back to an emotion from the film. Here’s the full lineup.
Cupcakes
- Joy Lemon Confetti Cupcake: vanilla confetti cake, blue filling, lemon buttercream, fusion sprinkles, and a Joy lollipop
- Anger Red Velvet Spiced Cupcake: red velvet cake, cinnamon buttercream, chocolate ganache, fire sprinkles, and an Anger lollipop
- Anxiety Orange-Almond Cupcake: orange-almond cake, espresso-chocolate crème frosting, fusion sprinkles, and an Anxiety lollipop
- Envy Sour Apple Cupcake: sour apple cake, matcha buttercream, lime curd filling, fusion sprinkles, and an Envy lollipop
The Envy cupcake is the one I’d try first. Sour apple, matcha, and lime curd is a bold combo for a cruise ship bakery, and it’s a nice break from the usual vanilla-and-chocolate lineup.
Popsicles
All four popsicles start with white chocolate fudge cake and get a fruit-chocolate glaze plus character eyes:
- Anxiety Orange: orange-chocolate glaze
- Joy Lemon: mango-chocolate glaze
- Embarrassment Strawberry: strawberry-chocolate glaze
- Anger Raspberry: raspberry-chocolate glaze
Crisped Rice Cereal Treats
- Anger Peanut: peanut butter with an Anger marshmallow decoration
- Envy Cookies: cookies ‘n cream with an Envy marshmallow decoration
- Anxiety Caramel: dulce de leche with an Anxiety marshmallow decoration
- Joy Vanilla: nonpareil sprinkles with a Joy marshmallow decoration
Chocolate Spheres
- Joy: yellow shimmer sphere with chocolate candy filling and star décor
- Anxiety: orange shimmer sphere with chocolate candy filling and chocolate décor
- Anger: red shimmer sphere with chocolate candy filling and a yellow chocolate flame
The shop also sells assorted shortbread cookies with vanilla frosting and dulce de leche filling.
Planning tip: On Wish-class ships, soft-serve and many quick treats are included, while specialty sweet shops usually charge extra. Disney hasn’t released Joyful Sweets pricing yet, so budget for this one as an add-on until we know more. These character treats also make great souvenirs for kids who want a “first night onboard” snack.

Three New Disney Believe Lounges and Their Signature Cocktails
The Disney Believe adds three new bars and lounges. Each has a menu built around its theme, and each has one standout drink.
Sea Notes
Sea Notes is an iridescent piano lounge inspired by The Little Mermaid. The signature cocktail is the Sea Salt Martini. It’s made with Mermaid Sea Salt Vodka, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, cucumber juice, and Cocchi Americano Aperitif. It’s topped with salted coconut sea foam and beet leaf microgreens and served in a seashell-inspired glass.
The zero-proof option is Under the Seaweed: Lyre’s Tequila Alternative, cucumber juice, coconut water, lime juice, and blue curacao syrup, topped with nori seaweed and salted coconut sea foam.
Wishing Well
Wishing Well draws from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which fits the ship’s broader nod to the film’s wishing wells. The standout drink is The Peddler’s Disguise. It blends green apple, elderflower, vanilla, white cranberry juice, lime juice, and Fever-Tree Lime Yuzu Soda. The glass changes color when it’s filled, so you’ll want your phone ready when it hits the table.
Skygazers
Skygazers is a pub styled as an astronomer’s laboratory. Its signature cocktail, Moonshine, combines Roku Gin, Dassai Blue 50 Sake, Chareau Aloe Liqueur, Cocchi Americano Aperitif, and a moon aroma bubble. It’s served in a sparkly vessel inspired by the night sky.
The non-alcoholic version, Starshine, uses Seedlip Garden 108, Origami Zero Non-Alcoholic Sake, white grape, yuzu, elderflower, and a moon aroma bubble.
What These Menus Tell Us About the Ship
Disney has framed the Believe around a theme of promise and possibility, with stories from Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid shaping the ship. The food and drinks follow that plan closely. Each lounge is a story you can sit inside, and each signature drink is built to be a moment, not just a beverage.
The non-alcoholic versions at Sea Notes and Skygazers are a smart move. They give non-drinkers, designated nappers, and teens-at-heart a drink that looks just as fun as the cocktail.
Planning a Disney Believe Cruise
Here’s what’s confirmed so far. The Disney Believe’s maiden voyage departs Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027. It will then sail regular 4- and 5-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Specific itineraries and a booking date haven’t been announced yet.
- Shorter sailings help. A 4-night trip is an easy way to try a brand-new ship without committing a full week.
- Expect early demand. New Disney ships tend to sell quickly for their first season, so watch for the booking announcement.
- Budget for lounges. Cocktails and specialty drinks are extra on Disney Cruise Line, so plan for them if these menus are part of the draw for you.
The Bottom Line
The Disney Believe food and drinks lineup gives this ship a strong identity before it ever leaves the shipyard. Inside Out: Joyful Sweets brings character cupcakes, popsicles, crisped rice treats, and chocolate spheres alongside 20+ flavors of gelato and ice cream. Sea Notes, Wishing Well, and Skygazers each bring their own story and a signature drink worth ordering at least once. The ship debuts from Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027, so you’ve got time to plan. Keep an eye out for itineraries and booking details, and check back with DisMornings as Disney reveals more about its newest Wish-class ship.
