Walt Disney World raised Annual Pass prices and 2027 single-day ticket prices. October 6, 2026 was not a good morning to be planning a trip and not having yet purchased tickets.

2027 Single-Day Tickets
Tickets are now on sale through December 31, 2027. Here is the highest single-day price at each park:
- Magic Kingdom: $229 (previously $219)
- EPCOT: $229 (previously $214)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $214 (previously $209)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $189 (previously $184)
Those are standard 1-day tickets for ages 10+, before tax, and they are the top of each park’s range — not what every day costs. Disney’s tickets are date-based, so the price you pay depends on when you go.
December Peak: 2026 vs 2027
The clearest apples-to-apples comparison is peak holiday pricing:
Magic Kingdom
December 2026 peak: $209 (Dec 19, 22–31) → December 2027 peak: $229 (Dec 25, 31). +$20 (9.6%)
EPCOT
December 2026 peak: $209 (Dec 31) → December 2027 peak: $229 (Dec 31). +$20 (9.6%)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
December 2026 peak: $204 (Dec 19–31) → December 2027 peak: $214 (Dec 24–31). +$10 (4.9%)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
December 2026 peak: $184 (Dec 19–31) → December 2027 peak: $189 (Dec 24–31). +$5 (2.7%)
One detail worth noticing: the number of peak days shrank. Magic Kingdom’s 2026 peak covered Dec 19 and 22–31. The 2027 peak hits only Dec 25 and 31. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom both move from Dec 19–31 down to Dec 24–31. Higher ceiling, fewer days at the ceiling.
The Two-Year Pattern
This is the third October Annual Pass increase in a row.
October 23, 2024 — increases of $30 to $100 across all tiers:
- Pixie Dust Pass: $439 → $469
- Pirate Pass: $799 → $829
- Sorcerer Pass: $999 → $1,079
- Incredi-Pass: $1,449 → $1,549
October 8, 2025:
- Pixie Dust Pass: $469 → $489
- Pirate Pass: $829 → $869
- Sorcerer Pass: $1,079 → $1,099
- Incredi-Pass: $1,549 → $1,629
October 6, 2026: the increases above.
Cumulative effect on the Incredi-Pass: $1,449 → $1,749. That is $300, or 20.8%, in two years.
Three consecutive Octobers is no longer a coincidence. If you hold a pass, plan on an increase next October too. If you’re looking at a fall/winter trip in late 2027, I would recommend purchasing your tickets before Labor Day weekend to lock in the lowest price point. Disney historically raises prices in October, as it’s the start of their new fiscal year. The Disney financial calendar runs from October 1st to September 30th.
What Disney Said
Thomas Mazloum, chairman of Disney Experiences, told CNN ahead of the increases: “Our goal is to put guests at the center of our decision making, and that starts by listening to them.” He added that it “matters more now when families are watching every dollar, and we see it in the choices they make every day — in how they plan, in how far ahead.”
Reading that alongside a 7.4% Incredi-Pass increase is an exercise left to you. The Pixie Dust Pass moving only $10 and Animal Kingdom only $5 does suggest the entry-level tiers were deliberately protected while the top end absorbed the real increase. This pattern continues the pattern of Disney looking to use price points to control overall demand and crowds.
What to Actually Do
If you are renewing a pass: check your renewal rate rather than assuming it matches the new base price. Renewal pricing is typically its own number.
If you are buying a new pass: the increase is live. There is no window left.
If you are planning 2027: tickets are on sale for every date through December 31, 2027. Check the ticket calendar for your actual travel dates — the figures above are peak, and most days cost less.
If your dates are flexible: the narrowing of peak windows cuts both ways. Fewer peak days means more days priced below the ceiling, so shifting a December trip by a few days may save more in 2027 than it did in 2026.
If you are deciding between a pass and tickets: with single-day prices rising too, the break-even math has not shifted as much as the pass headline suggests. Run it on your own park days.
The Bottom Line
Annual Passes up 2% to 7.4%, with the Incredi-Pass taking a $120 hit and now sitting $300 above where it was two years ago. 2027 single-day tickets up at all four parks, peaking at $229 at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Both are live. Three straight Octobers of pass increases means the pattern is the news as much as the numbers are.
