One of the most underrated table service spots at Walt Disney World is coming back with a rebuilt menu. The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa reopens September 30, and the new Turf Club Bar and Grill menu touches appetizers, entrées, desserts, and drinks.
If you’ve never eaten here, the pitch is simple: a quiet, reasonably priced table service restaurant with golf course views, a short walk or boat ride from Disney Springs, that almost never requires a hard-to-get reservation.
Here’s everything that changed, what stayed, and how to fit it into a trip.
Quick Summary
- Reopens: September 30, 2026
- Where: Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
- Why it closed: A refurbishment that began in late August
- The Turf Club Lounge already reopened on August 31 with its existing menu
- What’s new: New appetizers, four new entrées, a trimmed dessert list, and a reworked cocktail menu
- What stayed: Prime Rib, Smoked Salmon-wrapped Halibut, French Onion Soup, and the Turf Club Burger
What Happened During the Closure
The restaurant has been closed since late August as part of a longer refurbishment project affecting both The Turf Club Bar and Grill and The Turf Club Lounge.
The Lounge reopened back on August 31 with its existing menu intact, while the Bar and Grill stayed closed for a deeper refresh. That work is now finished.
The space keeps its turn-of-the-century Upstate New York and racing theme, with vintage equestrian memorabilia and views out over the golf course, Lake Buena Vista, and Disney Springs. That atmosphere is most of why people love this place, and it’s unchanged.

What’s New to Start
A few appetizers carry over, including the French Onion Soup and the Sweet-and-Spicy Brussels Sprouts, but there are real changes here too.
- Golden-fried Calamari now comes with shishito peppers, toasted sesame aïoli, and a sweet chili-lime sauce, replacing the previous Roma tomato sauce version
- Wedge Salad has swapped in pickled red onions
- Lemon Butter Shrimp is new, with sun-dried tomatoes, feta, capers, and toasted bread
- Crispy Chicken Wings remain, with buffalo or garlic-Parmesan sauce, blue cheese, and celery
The calamari change is the one I’d call an upgrade. Shishito peppers and sesame aïoli is a far more interesting plate than the standard marinara treatment every resort restaurant serves.
During my recent visit to The Turf Club Lounge, I had the opportunity to try the Lemon Butter Shrimp. Two thumbs way up. It’s a unique twist on the classic shrimp scampi. If this is a preview of the type of food coming to the main restaurant, we’re in for a treat!
The New Entrées
The Slow-roasted Prime Rib and Smoked Salmon-wrapped Halibut both return, largely unchanged. Beyond those, the entrée section has several new dishes:
- Braised Pork Shank with New York cheddar grits and a bacon-bourbon glaze
- Char-grilled Butcher’s Steak with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and house-made steak sauce
- Corn Flake-breaded Fried Chicken and Waffle with roasted jalapeño maple syrup and candied bacon butter
- Spinach and Mushroom Linguini, a plant-based option with mushroom “cream” sauce and basil-tofu “ricotta”
- Pappardelle Shrimp Pasta with asparagus and truffle sauce
The Turf Club Burger sticks around, still built with applewood-smoked bacon and New York white cheddar, though it’s now served with waffle fries instead of the previous seasoned fries.
The Braised Pork Shank with cheddar grits is the dish that fits this restaurant’s identity best. It’s rustic, regional, and not something you’ll find at five other places on property.
Desserts Got Trimmed
Dessert has been cut to four options:
- Chocolate-Hazelnut Cake with hazelnut mousse and berry sauce
- Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with strawberry sauce and graham crumb
- Salted Caramel Pot de Crème with vanilla bean panna cotta and pecan crunch
- Apple Tart with caramel sauce and streusel, plant-based
A shorter dessert list usually means better execution on what’s left. Four well-made desserts beat eight mediocre ones, and this lineup covers the obvious bases without redundancy.
The Cocktail List Leans Into the Racing Theme
This is where the refresh shows the most personality.
- The Saratoga Cocktail headlines it: Michter’s Single Barrel Rye Whiskey, Courvoisier VS Cognac, and Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
- Winner’s Circle Margarita with Don Julio Reposado Tequila and Grand Marnier
- New York Sour with Widow Jane Bourbon, Disaronno Originale, and Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Merlot
- Pineapple Mule with Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey, pineapple juice, and ginger beer
- Grandstand Martini with Grey Goose Vodka, Dolin Dry Vermouth, and blue cheese olives
- Mint Julep with Woodford Reserve, muddled fresh mint, and agave nectar
The Mint Julep and Blood Orange Margarita both return from before.
Wine, beer, and coffee round out the menu, including a Joffrey’s-brewed Peru Alto Mayo Protected Forest Coffee served press pot, and a non-alcoholic Enchanted Grove Lime Splash for younger guests or anyone skipping alcohol.
Recently, I tried the new Saratoga Cocktail while visiting The Turf Club Lounge. This is a fantastic addition to the cocktail menu, and I would highly recommend it if you enjoy a manhattan style drink.
How to Work It Into Your Trip
- Pair it with a Disney Springs night. Saratoga Springs connects to Disney Springs by boat and walking path, so you can eat somewhere quiet and still get your shopping in
- It’s a reservation you can usually get. Unlike the headline restaurants, Turf Club rarely requires a 60-day scramble
- Ask for a window or porch table. The golf course view is the whole atmosphere
- Good for a resort day. If you’re taking a break from the parks, this is a low-effort dinner that still feels like a night out
The Bottom Line
The Turf Club Bar and Grill menu returns September 30 with new appetizers, four new entrées including a Braised Pork Shank and a plant-based linguini, a tightened four-item dessert list, and a racing-themed cocktail lineup headlined by The Saratoga Cocktail.
The classics you liked are still there. Book it as a quieter alternative to Disney Springs dining, ask for a table with a view.
