If you’re planning more than one water park day at Walt Disney World over the next several months, stop and do this math before you buy a regular ticket. The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is back, and it’s valid through May 15, 2027. Prices start at $83 for kids and $89 for guests 10 and up.
A single-day water park ticket costs $74. That means the pass pays for itself on your second visit, and you get a round of mini golf and a cabana-style discount thrown in.
There’s a catch you need to know about, though. Typhoon Lagoon is closed for refurbishment right now, with no reopening date announced. So for the foreseeable future, this pass is really a Blizzard Beach pass.
Below, I’ll cover the 2027 Disney water park seasonal pass prices, what’s included, the blockout dates, the fine print, and who should actually buy it.
Quick Summary
- Valid through: May 15, 2027
- Price: $89 for ages 10 and up, $83 for ages 3 to 9, plus tax
- Single-day ticket comparison: $74
- Includes: One round of mini golf and 20% off same-day Polar Patio and Beachcomber Shack rentals
- Blockout dates: February 19–21, 2027 and March 20–28, 2027
- Park access: Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, whichever is open that day
- Big caveat: Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed, with no reopening date announced
- Parking: Free at both water parks
Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass 2027 Prices
Here’s what you’ll pay, before tax:
- $89 for ages 10 and up
- $83 for ages 3 to 9
Now compare that to a regular single-day water park ticket at $74. One visit on the pass costs you more than a day ticket. Two visits, and the pass wins easily.
For an adult, two single-day tickets run $148. The seasonal pass is $89. That’s roughly $59 back in your pocket, and every visit after that is basically free.
When the Pass Doesn’t Make Sense
If you’re only doing one water park day, skip it. Buy the single-day ticket, or check whether a water park add-on for your theme park tickets fits your trip better. The seasonal pass only works for you if you’ll realistically go at least twice before May 15, 2027.
What’s Included With the Pass
Water park admission is the headline, but you also get two extras.
One Round of Mini Golf
You get one round of mini golf on any single date during your pass window. It must be redeemed before 4:00 p.m. You can play at either course:
- Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, right next to Blizzard Beach
- Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf, near the EPCOT resort area
My tip: use it on a Blizzard Beach day. Winter Summerland sits right beside the water park, so you can play a round in the morning and walk over to the slides without moving your car.
20% Off Same-Day Rentals
Pass holders get 20% off same-day rentals of Polar Patios at Blizzard Beach and Beachcomber Shacks at Typhoon Lagoon. These are subject to availability, and you have to book them in person at the water park.
Because the discount only applies to same-day rentals, don’t count on getting one during a busy weekend. Arrive near opening and ask right away if shade and a home base matter to your group.
Typhoon Lagoon Is Closed Right Now
This is the part that changes the value of the pass. The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass covers Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, whichever is open on the day you visit.
Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed for its annual refurbishment, and Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date. Realistically, that means your pass will likely only get you into Blizzard Beach until spring 2027.
That’s not a dealbreaker. Blizzard Beach has plenty to do, from Summit Plummet to the family raft rides and the lazy river. But if Typhoon Lagoon’s surf pool is the reason you’re buying, you’ll want to watch for reopening news before you count on it.
Weather Matters Too
Central Florida winters can get cool, and Disney’s water parks can close or adjust hours during cold or stormy weather. Check the park hours in the My Disney Experience app the morning you plan to go. A pass is only a deal if the park is open when you are.
Blockout Dates
The pass isn’t valid on these dates:
- February 19–21, 2027
- March 20–28, 2027
That March stretch lines up with a busy spring break period. If your family trip lands in those dates, this pass won’t help you, so plan around it or buy day tickets.
The Fine Print
A few rules to know before you buy:
- The pass is nontransferable and nonrefundable
- The same person must use the pass on every visit
- It excludes activities or events that are separately priced or not open to the general public
- Parking at both water parks is free
The nontransferable rule is the one people trip on. You can’t buy one pass and share it between family members on different days. Every guest needs their own.
Who Should Buy the Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass
This pass is a strong fit for:
- Florida locals who want a few Blizzard Beach days before the weather cools or once spring warms up
- Long-stay visitors spending a week or more at Walt Disney World
- Split-stay families who plan to use water park days as rest days between theme parks
- Repeat visitors coming back in spring 2027, as long as they avoid the blockout dates
It’s a weaker fit if you only want Typhoon Lagoon, if your visits fall in the March blockout, or if you’ll only go once.
The Bottom Line
The Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is back through May 15, 2027, at $89 for ages 10 and up and $83 for ages 3 to 9. With a single-day ticket at $74, it pays for itself on your second visit and adds a round of mini golf plus 20% off same-day Polar Patio and Beachcomber Shack rentals.
Just go in with clear expectations. Typhoon Lagoon is closed with no reopening date, so plan on Blizzard Beach, and skip the blockout dates in February and March. If you’ll realistically visit twice, buy the pass and enjoy the extra water park days.
