Six Ravens at Disney Springs is almost here. The hand pie shop from Gideon’s Bakehouse founder Steve Lewis has a nearly complete exterior, and Disney has officially confirmed a summer 2026 opening. Here is everything you need to know about what Six Ravens is, what it will serve, and what the storefront looks like right now.
Quick Summary
- Six Ravens at Disney Springs has a nearly complete exterior, with summer 2026 opening confirmed
- Located in the former Art of Shaving storefront at Disney Springs
- Created by Steve Lewis, founder of Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs
- Specializes in hand pies called “Coffyns” with savory and sweet fillings
- Menu includes potatoes, local draft beer, and desserts
- Designed as a grab-and-go concept
- Exterior signage has not yet been installed
What the Six Ravens Storefront Looks Like Now
The facade is now largely complete. Dark grey wood paneling covers the upper portion of the building across two bays, with raised panel detailing and a stepped parapet roofline giving the storefront a distinctive, character-filled look.
Black scalloped awnings run across the lower level, framing large multi-pane windows and deep red entrance doors. The “Please Pardon Our Appearance — Something New Is Coming Soon” signage is still on the doors, so the space is not quite open yet, but it is clearly close.
The overall aesthetic ties closely to Gideon’s Bakehouse nearby — the same dark tones and detailed woodwork — but scaled down to fit the smaller footprint of the former Art of Shaving location.
What Is Still Missing
Exterior signage has not yet been installed. That will likely be one of the final steps before the doors open, so once signage goes up, opening day is probably close behind.
What Is Six Ravens?
Six Ravens specializes in “Coffyns” — the original old-school term for hand pies. The concept is built around portable, flavorful bites that work equally well as a snack or a full meal.
The menu will feature savory fillings created by the Gideon’s kitchen staff alongside collaborating Central Florida chefs. Beyond the hand pies, the menu will also include potatoes, local draft beer, and desserts. The concept is designed as a grab-and-go option — something easy to carry around Disney Springs without needing a table or reservation.
Who Is Behind Six Ravens?
Six Ravens is the next project from Steve Lewis, the founder of Gideon’s Bakehouse. Lewis has deep roots at Disney Springs — he got his start there with a secret menu item at The Polite Pig before opening Gideon’s in December 2020.
Five years later, Gideon’s is one of the most popular spots at Disney Springs, with lines that regularly stretch well beyond the door. Lewis announced Six Ravens in December 2025 on the five-year anniversary of that opening, making it clear this is not a side project but a full follow-up concept.
If Gideon’s is the benchmark, Six Ravens has a serious foundation to build on.
Where Is Six Ravens at Disney Springs?
Six Ravens is taking over the former Art of Shaving storefront at Disney Springs. The Art of Shaving location at Disney Springs closed, and this spot has been in development for a while. Now, with the exterior nearly complete, it looks like the wait is almost over.
The location is smaller than Gideon’s, which fits the grab-and-go design of the concept. You will not be sitting down for a long meal here — you grab your Coffyn, your beer if you want one, and you keep moving through Disney Springs.
When Does Six Ravens Open?
Disney has confirmed a summer 2026 opening. A specific date has not been announced yet. Given that the exterior is nearly done and only the signage appears to be missing, the opening is likely not far off.
If you are planning a Disney Springs visit this summer and Gideon’s is on your list, Six Ravens will probably be worth adding to your itinerary as well. Two quality food options from the same team in the same area — that is a good day at Disney Springs.
Final Thoughts on Six Ravens Disney Springs
Six Ravens is shaping up fast. The exterior looks great, the concept is well-defined, and Steve Lewis has already proven he can build something people genuinely line up for at Disney Springs. The hand pie format gives Six Ravens a unique identity distinct from Gideon’s, and the addition of beer and savory options gives it broader appeal.
Keep an eye on DisMornings for updates as Six Ravens moves closer to its summer 2026 debut. Once that signage goes up and the doors open, this one will move fast.
